Terrence Shannon Jr. - Minnesota Timberwolves
Shannon is rostered in 26.6% of fantasy basketball leagues right now. He was at just 5.46% two days ago.
He's on the rise after it was announced that Anthony Edwards would miss up to two months with a right knee injury. Shannon is one of the players who could help replace Edwards, and has produced a little already this season.
Shannon has played in four games for Minnesota so far, all off the bench. He played 19 minutes in the first game, then 22 minutes in back-to-back games. Shannon logged 23 minutes in his last appearance, a game that went to overtime.
He's scored in double figures in each game, tallying 10, 13, 15 and 14 points. Shannon has 13 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one block as well this season.

With Edwards out, there's a lot of production to pick up, so Shannon's outlook gets a boost. He has a chance to score more, and more playing time offers the chance for more rebounds, assists, steals and blocks as well.
Shannon is a better deep-league asset, but if he ends up starting or playing enough every game, he could be worth standard league pickups too. So he's one to add now in some deeper leagues, and he could become a standard league add later in the week if he shows he can deliver in Edwards' absence.
Ja'Kobe Walter - Toronto Raptors
Walter is owned in 39.1% of leagues, which is up from 3.47% back on October 24.
He has played in three games so far, coming off the bench for the first two before starting in place of the injured Kawhi Leonard in the last contest. Walter played 23 minutes in each game off the bench, then 31 minutes in his start.
Walter tallied 10 and seven points in his two appearances off the bench, then went off for 22 points in his start. Walter has added 11 rebounds, eight assists, seven steals and two blocks while on the court this season.
There's some intrigue here, especially with Leonard banged up. Walter is a better deep-league asset, but if he keeps starting and producing, he's worth streaming in standard leagues, at least until Leonard is back.
He's one to keep close tabs on, as his role dictates what leagues he should be rostered and starting in. Utilize Walter while he's playing well though.
Mo Bamba - Utah Jazz
Bamba sits at 16.49% rostered, after being at just 0.27% two days ago.
He didn't play in any of the team's first three games, but then logged 28 minutes off the bench in the team's fourth game of the season. Bamba produced 14 points, seven rebounds, four blocks and an assist in that one.
Bamba will take on an expanded role after injuries to Jaren Jackson Jr. and Lauri Markkanen. Jackson is out 6-8 weeks with a torn MCL in his right knee, while Markkanen is day-to-day with a right wrist sprain. Even just down JJJ, Bamba's role and fantasy production should increase.
Bamba is worth deep-league adds right now. If he starts or is logging around 28 minutes a night, there's a chance he gets into standard leagues shortly. So be keeping tabs on Bamba and be ready to pounce if his production keeps up.
Moussa Diabate - Charlotte Hornets
Diabate is now at 74.47% rostered, so this could be the last time we discuss him in a waiver wire article.
He's started the season strong. Diabate has started all four games, but logged anywhere from 20-34 minutes. Consistent playing time will be key in his fantasy outlook and production.
In the games he's played more, he's produced more, tallying 28 points, 25 rebounds, six assists, six steals and three blocks when playing over 22 minutes. In the other two games, Diabate has tallied just nine points, 13 rebounds, three assists and steals and one block.
He might fluctuate between 65-80% until his role is more settled. He's a very good deep-league option, even if he is playing fewer minutes. Diabate can be a must-own fantasy asset if he's logging enough minutes, so keep a close eye on him and add and drop him as his stats dictate.
