Saturday's Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Mitch Keller and Jose Soriano Among Options
Five starting pitchers in action on Saturday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups.
The Chicago White Sox set the record for most losses in a season last year. The Colorado Rockies are on pace to beat that record this year. There's a long way to go, and the Rockies will probably go on better runs during the season to not lose 122 games, but they have clearly been the worst team in baseball. Colorado has a run differential of -158; no other team is even at -100.
Let's aim for better results than the Rockies as we look at five starting pitchers in action on Saturday who have good matchups and are widely available in fantasy leagues. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable starters. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Jack Leiter, Texas Rangers @ Chicago White Sox
Chicago's season-long numbers are those of a bottom-five team. That isn't just a function of a slow start, either. If anything, the White Sox started off better and got worse. Over the past two weeks, they are also in the bottom five in pretty much every offensive box stat.
Leiter has been on the wrong side of things in his first 70-plus innings: he has both a walk rate and strikeout rate several percentage points worse than average and a career ERA over 6.50. Leiter was a high draft pick and big-time prospect, so there's hope that more experience will bring better results, but Leiter is struggling more often early in his career.
Leiter is a low- to mid-level streamer. His bad strikeout and walk numbers make his floor shaky, but he does have a little higher ceiling than it might seem. While I can see the argument for putting Leiter in your lineup given the matchup, he's a borderline player.
Zabby Matthews, Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals
The Royals are a little better with their hit tool, reaching a middling level with hits and batting average. Their power numbers are lacking heavily, though, as Kansas City has hit four fewer home runs than any other team (32 in 52 games) and ranks in the bottom six in both slugging percentage and OPS.
Matthews has thrown 40.2 innings with better-than-average walk and strikeout rates. He made his first big-league start of 2025 on Sunday and allowed five hits and four runs in three innings, with three walks and five strikeouts. There's a nice ceiling on Matthews's projection but also a bit of a lower floor due to his lack of track record.
Matthews is a mid-level streamer. His strikeout numbers give him a nice outlook, and the Royals aren't a dangerous team, making it less likely that Matthews bottoms out.
Mitch Keller, Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Quinn Priester, Milwaukee Brewers @ Pittsburgh Pirates
A pair of teams in the same division who are both struggling offensively: The Brewers have at least been able to hang near .500 despite a bottom-10 offense, but the Pirates have the second worst record in the National League at 18-34. Pittsburgh also has the worse offense, but neither team is excelling on either side of the ball.
Keller is right around average (maybe a hair better) with both walks and strikeouts in his career. That's a very valuable real-life pitcher and a guy who is worthy of fantasy consideration. His Ks are down just a bit in 2025, but Keller has still mostly looked good.
Priester is worse than average with walks and far below average with strikeouts, a bad start before we even consider anything else. He has also allowed more than a hit per inning (149 in 138.1 innings) and has an ERA approaching 6.00.
Keller is a mid- to high-level streamer and Priester a low-level streamer. Priester just can't be trusted for positive results right now, but Keller has everything on his side and is brought down a bit only by his lower strikeout rate this season.
Jose Soriano, Los Angeles Angels vs. Miami Marlins
Miami has been OK offensively; it might not seem like it, but that's a major feat based on preseason expectations. They aren't dangerous, but they are somewhat respectable. The Marlins rank in the bottom 10 in runs, home runs, and walks; they top out in the middle in any category. They're a team we can target in a pinch.
Soriano's performance makes it worth targeting this middling team. Though he walks a few too many guys, Soriano is an average strikeout pitcher (he has been below that mark in 2025). He still has been good with run prevention, giving up just 23 earned runs in 58 innings. LA has won eight straight games, so you're betting on the hot team in this one if you go with Soriano.
Soriano is a mid-level streamer. His lower strikeout numbers this year knock him down a half-notch, and the matchup is only OK.
