Quinn Priester remains out for the season following thoracic outlet surgery

Priester has not pitched in the majors this season after undergoing season-ending thoracic outlet decompression surgery in June to address persistent nerve issues. The first-place Brewers (77-48) continue their push atop the NL Central on a two-game winning streak without him, having filled out their rotation with young arms like Jacob Misiorowski and Dustin May.

This lost year halts the momentum from his solid 2025 campaign, where he notched 13 wins and a 3.52 ERA over 158.5 innings for Milwaukee. With an expected recovery timeline of 8 to 10 months, our models project zero innings or fantasy contributions for the remainder of 2026.
