Spencer Arrighetti dominates on the mound as a crucial rotation anchor amidst Astros injuries.

Spencer Arrighetti has been sensational over the last 30 days, posting a microscopic 0.95 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP across 28.3 innings. The fourth-place Astros (27-34) have relied heavily on the 26-year-old, especially with starters Hunter Brown, Cristian Javier, and Lance McCullers Jr. sidelined on the injured list. Despite battling a recent minor illness, Arrighetti continues to slot in as a solid number two starter in Houston's rotation, turning in six strong innings of one-run ball in his most recent outing.

While Arrighetti's current 1.36 ERA and 1.12 WHIP through eight starts are elite, some regression is expected given his career 5.05 ERA in 2024 and 5.61 ERA in 2025.
