Griffin Jax enters a crucial two-start week in peak form as a rotation fixture for the first-place Rays

Jax has been exceptional lately, posting a stellar 1.73 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over 26.0 innings during the last 30 days. He has firmly established himself as a reliable fourth starter for the first-place Rays, who currently lead the AL East with a 52-35 record. While he dealt with a minor back contusion earlier in the summer, our data shows he is fully healthy and performing as a key component of a rotation currently missing several arms to the injured list.

His recent surge is backed by strong underlying numbers, including a 1.09 WHIP over the last fortnight that significantly improves upon his 1.31 season mark.
