Raisel Iglesias remains an elite active closer for the powerhouse Braves

Raisel Iglesias continues to shine as the primary closer for the first-place Braves, who lead their division with a stellar 42-20 record. Over his last 30 days, he has maintained a superb 1.80 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with 11 strikeouts across 10 innings. He remains completely secure in his high-leverage role.

His dominant 0.99 ERA on the season is bound to experience minor regression toward our projected 3.49 ERA and 1.10 WHIP, but his elite skills are sustainable. Iglesias has a long history of top-tier closing success, and his strong walk-to-strikeout ratio reinforces his stability.

With the week underway, the Braves finish a series against Toronto before hosting Pittsburgh for three weekend matchups. Atlanta's potent offense should generate plenty of close leads, giving him multiple save opportunities. Verdict: Start.
