Raisel Iglesias locks down ninth inning as Braves push for division title

Iglesias has settled back into dominant form, rattling off 5.1 scoreless innings with a 0.98 WHIP over his last 14 days. Solidifying the ninth inning for the first-place Braves (83-57), the veteran right-hander remains an indispensable bullpen anchor, particularly with key relief arms Robert Suarez and Joe Jimenez both sidelined on the injured list.

Boasting 29 saves and a sharp 2.94 ERA across 50 appearances, Iglesias has already eclipsed our full-season projection of 25 saves. Although his strikeout rate is slightly below his career peak, his recent command confirms that an inflated August ERA was merely a temporary blip rather than true skill regression.
