Fantasy Baseball Week 19 Projections and Waiver Wire Hitting Options

A new week of fantasy baseball is here, which means it's time to go over the weekly projections to hopefully identify a few streaming options for you.

Second Basemen

Jorge Polanco is rostered in 44% of fantasy leagues and is projected for 23 points over seven games this week.

He has a .253 average and .313 on-base percentage over 86 games and 325 plate appearances this season. Polanco has 16 homers and 14 doubles among his 74 total hits, along with 47 RBIs, 39 runs scored, three stolen bases, 24 walks and 45 strikeouts.

Otto Lopez is set for 22 points over six games. He's rostered in 69% of leagues.

Lopez sits with a .251 average and .324 OBP over 87 games and 364 plate appearances this season. He has 54 RBIs, 44 runs scored, 10 stolen bases, 34 walks and 51 strikeouts. Lopez has 14 doubles and 11 home runs among his 82 total knocks.

Tommy Edman (69% rostered) and Jeff McNeil (15%) are each projected for 21 points over six games. Jackson Holliday (81%) is set for 20 points over seven contests.

Third Basemen

Ernie Clement is projected for 22 points over seven games this week. He's rostered in 40% of leagues.

He's posted a .282 average and .318 OBP over 103 games and 382 plate appearances this year. Clement has 20 doubles, a triple and five homers among his 99 total hits. He also has added 31 RBIs, 49 runs scored, three stolen bases, 20 walks and 37 strikeouts. 

Jordan Westburg is owned in 89% of leagues and is set for 22 points over seven games as well.

He has a .255 average and .306 OBP over 53 games and 219 plate appearances this year. Westburg has 52 total hits, including 11 homers, seven doubles and a triple. He's tallied 23 RBIs, 37 runs scored, a stolen base, 11 walks and 51 strikeouts as well.

Addison Barger is another hitter with 22 projected points over seven contests. He's at 73% rostered.

Barger has a .269 average and .322 OBP over 81 games and 302 plate appearances, along with 47 RBIs, 44 runs scored, three stolen bases, 21 walks and 73 strikeouts. Barger has 23 doubles, a triple and 14 homers among his 75 total knocks.

Nolan Arenado (74%) is projected for 21 fantasy points.

Catchers

Ivan Herrera is projected for 24 points over six games. He's rostered in 74% of leagues right now.

He has a .312 average and .386 OBP over 52 games and 215 plate appearances. Herrera has eight doubles and nine home runs among his 59 total hits, along with 39 RBIs, 24 runs scored, three stolen bases, 21 walks and 41 strikeouts.

Agustin Ramirez is owned in 84% of leagues and is projected for 22 points over six contests.

He's up to 79 games played and 337 plate appearances. Ramirez has a .244 average and .288 OBP, along with 46 RBIs, 45 runs scored, two stolen bases, 20 walks and 65 strikeouts. He has 23 doubles, a triple and 15 home runs among his 77 total knocks.

Shea Langeliers (79%) is set for 20 points over six possible games this week.

Shortstops

Xavier Edwards is projected for 24 points over six games this week. He's owned in 69% of leagues.

Over 87 games and 393 plate appearances so far, Edwards has a .295 average and .359 OBP. He has 16 doubles, two triples and a homer among his 104 total hits, along with 26 RBIs, 47 runs scored, 17 stolen bases, 35 walks and 57 strikeouts.

Josh Smith is set for 23 fantasy points over seven possible games. He's rostered in 39% of leagues.

He has a .269 average and .346 OBP over 92 games and 366 plate appearances. Smith has 17 doubles, eight homers and a triple among his 87 total knocks, along with 26 RBIs, 50 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 34 walks and 60 strikeouts.

Masyn Winn (48%) is set for 22 points over six games. Zach Neto (84%), Jose Caballero (24%) and J.P. Crawford (29%) are all projected for 21 points - Neto could play six games, while Crawford and Cabellero could play seven each.

Anthony Volpe (64%), Willy Adames (80%) and Xander Bogaerts (88%) are all set for 20 points this week. Volpe could play seven games, while Adames and Bogaerts could top out at six games each.

First Basemen

Jonathan Aranda is owned in 78% of leagues and is set for 23 points over seven possible games.

Aranda has a .315 average and .394 OBP over 98 games and 388 plate appearances this season. He has 21 doubles and 11 home runs among his 107 hits, along with 51 RBIs, 50 runs scored, 38 walks and 96 strikeouts - he doesn't have a stolen base.

Vinnie Pasquantino is owned in 88% of leagues and is projected for 22 points over six games this week.

Pasquantino is hitting .266 and getting on base at a .323 clip over 103 games and 436 plate appearances so far. He has 15 doubles, a triple and 17 home runs among his 106 hits. Pasquantino also has 61 RBIs, 41 runs scored, a stolen base, 30 walks and 73 strikeouts.

Alec Burleson is set for 22 points over six games and is owned in 65% of leagues.

He's played in 94 games and gotten 354 plate appearances on the season. Burleson has a .285 average and .335 OBP, along with 44 RBIs, 34 runs scored, four stolen bases, 25 walks and 47 strikeouts. He has 18 doubles and 12 home runs among his 92 total hits.

Ryan O'Hearn (43%) and Paul Goldschmidt (81%) are each set for 21 fantasy points over seven games.

Nolan Schanuel (36%) and Carlos Santana (17%) are each projected for 20 points over six possible games.

Outfielders

Chandler Simpson is projected for 31 points over seven games this week. He's rostered in 67% of leagues right now.

Simpson is at a .308 average and .345 OBP over 60 games and 232 plate appearances. He has eight doubles and a triple among his 66 total hits, along with 15 RBIs, 30 runs scored, 32 stolen bases, 13 walks and 20 strikeouts.

Evan Carter is owned in just 25% of leagues and is set for 24 points over seven possible games. 

He's played in 49 games and received 170 plate appearances this season. Carter has a .252 average and .335 OBP, along with 20 RBIs, 25 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, 16 walks and 32 strikeouts. He has seven doubles, four homers and two triples among his 25 total knocks.

Cedric Mullins is rostered in 52% of leagues and is projected for 23 points over seven possible contests.

He's played in 87 games and has a .219 average and .297 OBP over 338 plate appearances. Mullins has 15 doubles and 14 homers among his 66 total hits. He's also posted 45 RBIs, 39 runs scored, 14 stolen bases, 32 walks and 84 strikeouts.

Giancarlo Stanton (45%), Nick Castellanos (86%) and Lawrence Butler (89%) are all set for 22 points. Stanton could play seven games, while Castellanos and Butler each could play six games.

Josh Lowe (37%), TJ Friedl (71%), Tyler O'Neill (30%), Adolis Garcia (67%), Jung Hoo Lee (63%), Jake McCarthy (5%) and Ramon Laureano (33%) are all projected for 21 fantasy points. Lowe, O'Neill, Garcia and Laureano have seven games amongst that group.

Andy Pages (89%), Trent Grisham (32%) and Marcell Ozuna (74%) are projected for 20 points each. Grisham has seven games this week, while Pages and Ozuna have six each.
