Seiya Suzuki Poised to Bust Slump in Favorable Week Ahead

Suzuki has hit a cold stretch, batting just .206 with two home runs and 11 RBIs over his last 30 days. Despite the slump, he remains locked in as the everyday right fielder for the fourth-place Cubs, who currently sit at 32-28 in the NL Central. He continues to play outstanding defense and receive regular plate appearances, securing his high-volume role in the lineup.

While the recent power outage is frustrating, his stellar career track record—including a 35-homer, 108-RBI campaign last year—points to imminent positive regression. His solid .259 average over the last week suggests he is already beginning to make better contact. Our models project a rest-of-season bounce-back toward a strong .261 batting average and 22 home runs.
