The first-place Rays lead the AL East with a 54-36 record and are currently riding a two-game winning streak. With the team dealing with several long-term roster absences, Walls has solidified his role as the everyday shortstop and a defensive anchor in the middle infield.

While the recent month of production was a productive stretch, his current .224 batting average aligns closely with our projection of .214. Given his career history of high strikeout rates and low averages, fantasy managers should expect some regression toward that baseline rather than a sustained offensive breakout. His primary fantasy value remains tethered to his legs, as his 13 stolen bases confirm he is still a reliable source of speed.

Tampa Bay finishes a home set with the Yankees today before starting a weekend series against the Mariners.
