It's time for our weekly check-in on fantasy baseball hitters trending up and down.
We'll start by looking at hitters trending up today. These stats cover June 10-16. Check back soon for the story on hitters trending down.

Most Hits
Atlanta's Ronald Acuna Jr. led the league with 12 hits over the timeframe we are using. Acuna has immediately returned to being an elite fantasy hitter since he returned to the field. Those who waited for him to come back are being rewarded in a big way, and his trade value is sky high already - only sell him high if you need a boost of talent across your lineup, because Acuna could stick as an elite option the remainder of the season.
San Diego's Fernando Tatis Jr., Texas' Josh Smith and Washington's James Wood all collected 11 hits last week.
Tatis got rolling again finally after an extended cold stretch. I told fantasy owners to buy low while they could, because now Tatis' value is sky high again, and he's going to be nearly untouchable.
Smith has been a huge fantasy waiver addition over the past week with his hot hitting at the plate. He's up to 59% after sitting below 25% on June 12. Utilize Smith in all leagues while he's still rolling at the plate.
Wood continued his big season with another great week at the plate. He's an even better fantasy asset than people think he is, and he'd command a nice return in a trade. Only deal him away if you are set in the outfield otherwise and need a boost of talent elsewhere.
Most RBIs
San Diego's Manny Machado, Philadelphia's Alec Bohm and San Francisco's Casey Schmitt all drove in 11 runs over the last week.
Machado continued his big fantasy season. He's still a sell-high trade candidate, but at some point, you just have to say to sit back and enjoy his fantasy success if you roster him.
Bohm is rising as a fantasy asset after his strong week at the plate. He's up to 89% rostered, and all of a sudden, is looking like a really solid all-around fantasy hitter again. Utilize him while he's producing in case he eventually falls back into a slump at the plate.
Schmitt is owned in just 3% of leagues, so him being amongst the leaders in RBIs is a big surprise. He left a game after fouling a ball off his foot, so that's holding him back from a little more fantasy relevance. Schmitt is a name to keep an eye on, although the addition of Rafael Devers is going to make it tougher for him to crack the lineup probably.
Most Runs Scored
Tatis and Smith led the MLB with nine runs scored last week.
Cincinnati's Elly De La Cruz scored eight runs last week, and he also led the big leagues in homers with four. De La Cruz has improved his numbers in his third big league season, and he's remained a top-end fantasy option because of that. He's a guy to target in a trade, not someone to look to trade away.
Philadelphia's Max Kepler, Houston's Jeremy Pena, Washington's CJ Abrams, Texas' Evan Carter, Colorado's Hunter Goodman and San Francisco's Jung Hoo Lee all scored seven times last week.
Kepler is trending up, but is still only rostered in 10% of leagues. His average of .221 this season is weak, but a .310 OBP and a healthy amount of extra-base hits makes him an underrated fantasy option in deeper leagues.
Pena is usually overlooked in fantasy leagues, but he's owned in nearly every league after what he's done so far this season. He's enjoying a career season, and while he's not talked about a bunch, he's finally receiving the fantasy love he deserves.
Abrams is enjoying a career-best season as well. He's owned in nearly every fantasy league and is a well-rounded fantasy hitter. Abrams still might be a bit underrated, so you might be able to land him in a trade for a fairly reasonable price.
Carter has been a big waiver wire name over the past several days. He's up to 48% rostered after sitting near 10% on June 10. Carter is at least worth adding and utilizing in deeper leagues while he's hot at the plate, and standard leaguers could also use him for at least a short-term stint.
Goodman is way up to 93% after another strong week at the plate. He's been a great fantasy asset most of the season and is enjoying a breakout season. Add him if he's still available in your league, because he's most likely outperforming your catcher, or secondary hitters, you are starting now.
Lee has been really good in his second big league season. He had been trending down a bit, but still sits at 92% owned. He was one of the better fantasy hitters early in the season, so maybe he's about to go on another big run.
More Fantasy Hitters On the Rise
Miami's Dane Myers had a .526 average across 19 at-bats and 20 plate appearances over the past week. He's owned in just 7% of leagues, but is now dealing with an elbow injury.
Pittsburgh's Ke'Bryan Hayes and Seattle's Randy Arozarena stole three bases each over the past seven days.
Hayes, owned in 7% of leagues, had five hits, two runs scored, an RBI, no walks and five strikeouts as well. Arozarena, owned in 89% of leagues and trending up, had three hits, four runs scored, two RBIs, six walks and three strikeouts.
Texas' Corey Seager got going at the plate a bit with four hits and 10 walks drawn. He also had three runs scored, two RBIs and four strikeouts. It was a great week for his fantasy owners after Seager was in a big-time funk and starting to be dropped in fantasy leagues.
Colorado's Thairo Estrada had 10 hits last week. He also had four RBIs, three runs scored and five strikeouts. Estrada is owned in just 8% of fantasy leagues.
Minnesota's Willi Castro had 10 hits and a walk over the past seven days. He added four RBIs, two runs scored and seven strikeouts. Castro sits at 63% rostered right now and is trending up.
Tampa Bay's Brandon Lowe had 10 hits and three walks last week to post a .400 average. He added six runs scored, three RBIs and four strikeouts. Lowe is up to 79% rostered.
Houston's Jose Altuve had 10 hits and two walks over the past week. He also had seven RBIs, five runs scored, a stolen base and two strikeouts. Altuve is still capable of these monster fantasy weeks, even though his numbers have dropped and he's past his prime.
Toronto's Ernie Clement posted 10 hits over the timeframe we are using. He added four runs scored, an RBI and struck out just once. His own percentage is back on the rise after it dropped over the past week - he's at 23% rostered now.
Baltimore's Gunnar Henderson had 10 hits and three walks last week for a .385 average. He had four runs scored, three RBIs, two stolen bases and six strikeouts as well. This is the kind of fantasy week we are accustomed to with Henderson, so his fantasy owners are hoping they are more prevalent the rest of the season.
San Francisco's Mike Yastrzemski had a .550 OBP over 20 plate appearances. He had seven hits and four walks, along with four RBIs, three runs scored and four strikeouts. Yastrzemski is rostered in just 16% of leagues right now.
Seattle's J.P. Crawford had a .519 OBP over 27 plate appearances. He posted eight hits and walked six times - he also had five RBIs, two runs scored and stolen bases and three strikeouts. Crawford is on the rise as a fantasy asset and has been a waiver add of late - he's up to 43% owned now.
