Fantasy Baseball Week 15 Projections and Waiver Wire Hitting Options

A new week of fantasy baseball is starting up, which means it's time to go over the weekly projections and some possible waiver wire options for you.

Second Basemen
Kansas City's Jonathan India is rostered in 44% of fantasy leagues and is projected for 23 points over seven possible games this week.
India has a .246 average and .320 on-base percentage over 76 games and 328 plate appearances this season. He's got 16 doubles and four home runs among his 72 total hits, along with 23 RBIs, 33 runs scored, 30 walks and 48 strikeouts.
Washington's Luis Garcia Jr. is set for 22 points over six contests. He's owned in 74% of leagues.
He's played in 75 games and logged 294 plate appearances so far. Garcia has a .266 average and .306 OBP, along with 39 RBIs, 37 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 16 walks and 40 strikeouts.
Miami's Otto Lopez (38% rostered) is set for 21 points over six contests. Pittsburgh's Nick Gonzales (11%), Toronto's Andres Gimenez (31%) and LA Dodgers' Hyeseong Kim (20%) all are projected for 20 points this week. Kim and Gonzales have six games each, while Gimenez could play up to seven.
Third Basemen
Toronto's Ernie Clement is owned in 45% of leagues and is projected for 23 points over seven games.
Clement has a .304 average and .347 OBP over 81 games and 288 plate appearances. He's got 17 doubles and four home runs among his 80 total hits so far. Clement also has 21 RBIs, 38 runs scored, three stolen bases, 18 walks and 31 strikeouts.
Milwaukee's Caleb Durbin (24%) and Seattle's Jorge Polanco (37%) are each projected for 21 points this week. Polanco could play up to seven games, while Durbin has six possible games.
Durbin sits with a .250 average and .326 OBP over 63 games and 238 plate appearances. He has 11 doubles and four home runs among his 52 total knocks. Durbin also has 29 RBIs, 30 runs scored, six stolen bases, 13 walks and 22 strikeouts.
Polanco has nine doubles and 11 homers among his 56 total hits this season. He's also posted 38 RBIs, 26 runs scored, three stolen bases, 16 walks and 33 strikeouts over 67 games and 249 plate appearances.
First Basemen
Kansas City's Vinnie Pasquantino falls just below the cutoff own percentage I use for this article. He's at 89% and is projected for 26 fantasy points over seven games.
Pasquantino has played in 83 games and logged 349 plate appearances so far. He has a .270 average and .330 OBP, along with 47 RBIs, 33 runs scored, a stolen base, 25 walks and 56 strikeouts. Pasquantino has nine doubles, a triple and 12 home runs as well.
San Francisco's Wilmer Flores is up to 46% rostered and is set for 23 points over seven contests.
Flores is hitting .244 and getting on base at a .320 clip over 80 games and 316 plate appearances this season. He has eight doubles and 11 home runs among his 69 total hits, along with having 55 RBIs, 31 runs scored, a stolen base, 27 walks and 56 strikeouts.
New York Yankees' Ben Rice (42%) and Los Angeles Angels' Nolan Schanuel (34%) are each projected for 21 points this week. Rice could play up to seven games, while Schanuel has six games scheduled.
Tampa Bay's Jonathan Aranda (78%), Arizona's Pavin Smith (14%), Chicago Cubs' Michael Busch (72%) and St. Louis' Alec Burleson (78%) are all set for 20 points this coming week. Smith is the only one in that bunch who could play seven games.
Shortstops
San Francisco's Willy Adames is set for 24 fantasy points over seven games this week. He's currently rostered in 70% of leagues.
He's played in 83 games and logged 354 plate appearances so far this season. Adames has a .209 average and .297 OBP, along with 36 RBIs, 44 runs scored, four stolen bases, 40 walks and 94 strikeouts. Adames has 11 doubles, nine homers and a triple among his 64 total hits.
Miami's Xavier Edwards (58%), LA Angels' Zach Neto (80%) and New York Yankees' Anthony Volpe (73%) are all projected for 23 fantasy points. Volpe is the only guy in that group who could play seven games this week.
Chicago Cubs' Dansby Swanson (84%), Seattle's J.P. Crawford (43%) and St. Louis' Masyn Winn (54%) all are set for 21 fantasy points. Crawford could play up to seven games, while Winn and Swanson have six possible games each.
Chicago White Sox' Chase Meidroth (17%), San Diego's Xander Bogaerts (81%) and Minnesota's Carlos Correa (35%) all are projected for 20 fantasy points over six games this week.
Catchers
Toronto's Alejandro Kirk is owned in 82% of leagues now and is set for 23 fantasy points over seven possible games.
Kirk has nine doubles and seven home runs among his 78 total hits on the season. He has a .315 average and .362 OBP over 68 total games and 271 plate appearances. Kirk also has 39 RBIs, 22 runs scored, 19 walks and 27 strikeouts to his name.
Miami's Agustin Ramirez is projected for 22 points over six games. He's rostered in 73% of leagues.
Ramirez has played in 58 games and logged 249 plate appearances so far. He has 15 doubles, 12 homers and a triple among his 59 total hits, along with 33 RBIs, 32 runs scored, a stolen base, 17 walks and 47 strikeouts.
New York Yankees' Austin Wells (71%) and Houston's Yainer Diaz (86%) are each projected for 20 points this week. Wells could play seven games, while Diaz has six scheduled.
Outfielders
San Francisco's Jung Hoo Lee is down to 78% rostered, but he's still projected for 27 fantasy points over seven possible games.
Lee is hitting .243 and getting on base at a .315 clip over 340 plate appearances - he's played in 81 games. Lee has 17 doubles and six homers and triples among his 74 total hits. He also has 34 RBIs, 46 runs scored, six stolen bases, 29 walks and 37 strikeouts.
Toronto's George Springer (82%) and Tampa Bay's Chandler Simpson (50%) are each set for 24 fantasy points this week. Simpson has six possible games, while Springer has seven.
Springer has a .265 average and .360 OBP over 77 games and 302 plate appearances. He has 15 doubles, a triple and 11 home runs among his 67 total hits, along with 40 RBIs, 42 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 38 walks and 62 strikeouts.
Simpson is hitting .290 and getting on base at a .325 clip over 41 games and 157 plate appearances so far. He has four doubles and one triple among his 42 total hits. Simpson has 12 RBIs, 19 runs scored, 21 stolen bases, eight walks and 15 strikeouts to his name as well.
New York Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton (37%) is set for 23 points over seven games. Yankees' Trent Grisham (40%) is at 22 projected points.
San Francisco's Mike Yastrzemski (16%), Seattle's Luke Raley (6%), Baltimore's Cedric Mullins (63%), Milwaukee's Sal Frelick (64%), Detroit's Parker Meadows (15%) and Cincinnati's TJ Friedl (85%) are among the players at 21 projected points. Raley and Yastrzemski are the only outfielders in that group with seven possible games.
Texas' Evan Carter (27%) and Detroit's Kerry Carpenter (63%) are each set for 20 points over six games.
