It's time to go over the top offensive dynasty football players for the San Francisco 49ers.

We already looked at the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Bills, Ravens, Vikings, Commanders, Chargers, Packers, Texans, Rams, Steelers, Buccaneers, Broncos, Bears, Colts, Cowboys, Jaguars, Dolphins, Seahawks, Patriots, Giants, Raiders, Cardinals, Bengals, Panthers and Jets. We'll cover the other teams soon, so keep checking back for more!

Quarterbacks

Brock Purdy is now locked in as the team's long-term quarterback. He's not on my top-10 list, but also isn't super far off it either.

Purdy is just 25 years old and has turned into an NFL starter after being the last pick in the 2022 Draft - he's already a major success story.

He regressed last season, but so did everyone on the Niners' offense. I expect bounceback seasons for Purdy and company, so I'm a fan of rostering Purdy in dynasty leagues, whether you are contending or rebuilding a bit.

Purdy has top-10 fantasy potential for the next several seasons, and could jump back on my top-10 dynasty list with a season closer to the one he had in 2024.

Mac Jones is the team's top backup, while rookie Kurtis Rourke is another option now.

Jones is a career backup at this point. He has some dynasty value left, but it's mostly because he's an injury away from a starting job again. I don't see Jones getting a full-time starting role with a team ever again.

Rourke was a seventh-round pick, and in time could become the team's No. 2 QB. He's already 24 years old, so even if he replicates what Purdy did a couple years ago, his dynasty value won't ever erupt.

Running Backs

Christian McCaffrey is the team's No. 1 back still. Isaac Guerendo is the top backup, while rookie Jordan James and vet Patrick Taylor Jr. are other depth options.

McCaffrey is off my top-10 dynasty list now, and that's probably going to upset some of you, because he can be a top-end asset when on the field. He's also 29 years old, is coming off an injury-riddled season and has injury concerns over his career, so it's warranted to me.

CMC is still a good/great fantasy asset in the short term, but he's a piece for a contending dynasty team only. If you aren't contending, then you'd be better off trading him away for future, or younger, assets. Maybe wait to trade him until he delivers a couple nice fantasy outings, as his value is down right now.

Guerendo flashed some potential over 16 games as a rookie in 2024. He had 572 yards and four scores over 99 touches.

He's 25 years old, so his dynasty value isn't as high as it could be for a second-year back after a solid rookie campaign. Guerendo is still a good asset to roster, especially if CMC is a starter for you.

Guerendo could eventually work into a lead role, but I think he'll be more of a secondary back over his NFL career.

Taylor had 208 yards and a score over 13 games last season, which honestly is a bit underwhelming because of all the RB injuries San Fran dealt with last season. The 27-year-old is just a depth option, and likely won't have much value in any leagues going forward - he could even be cut, but even a change of scenery isn't likely to get him into a big fantasy role.

James was a fifth-round pick of the team this offseason. He's just 21 years old, so he could become something in time for San Fran. He will have to prove his worth in practice and the preseason in order to carve out a role behind CMC and Guerendo this season.

James is worth stashing in most dynasty leagues, but don't be expecting much from him in the upcoming season. We'll see if he ever gets a chance to shine.

Wide Receivers

Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings are the projected starting receivers for the Niners. Demarcus Robinson, Russell Gage, Jacob Cowing and rookies Jordan Watkins and Junior Bergen are secondary options.

None of them are dynasty top-10 guys in my eyes, and I'm not sure anyone will be able to get there.

Aiyuk is working his way back from a major injury, so his value is down. He had 1,342 yards and seven scores in his last full season, so there's value there.

Aiyuk is 27 years old, and is probably better suited for contending dynasty teams, although I'd wait to trade him from a rebuilding dynasty team until he builds some value back up. His dynasty value is only likely to drop from here, but he's a possible weekly starter for this whole season.

Jennings is 28 years old, but also is coming off his best season. He had 975 yards and six scores over 15 games.

He can help contending dynasty teams out, but is a clear-cut sell-high trade candidate for rebuilding teams, especially if you think his value will drop again this season. Jennings is a flex starting option in most dynasty leagues.

Pearsall is a wideout I really like after he produced 445 yards and three scores over 11 games as a rookie. The 31st overall pick from 2024 has big upside, and I'd buy into him now before he really takes off.

The only thing that might hold him off the dynasty top-10 list is that he's nearly 25 years old already.

Robinson is joining his fourth team and is entering his 10th NFL season. He's 30 years old and his dynasty value is starting to drop now. Robinson is another sell-high candidate, even though he doesn't have much value. Only roster him on a contending dynasty squad.

Cowing had just 87 yards and no scores over 15 games in his rookie season. I had high hopes for the fourth-round pick, and now he's got competition just to get on the field. The 24-year-old might need to show something this year to retain some dynasty value and stick around in San Fran.

Gage is buried on the depth chart, but has produced at least 425 yards in four straight years. He has 13 scores over the past three years combined. The 29-year-old might not stick with the Niners, but he's worth mentioning as a depth piece worth rostering by contending dynasty teams in case he gets to a team in need of receiver help.

Watkins was a fourth-round pick of the team, while Bergen went in the seventh. Watkins is 23, while Bergen is 22.

Watkins has a better chance to make an impact as a rookie, but Bergen could be a better dynasty asset in the long run because of his age. Both are worth stashing in some deeper dynasty leagues, but I wouldn't expect either guy to contribute a ton as a rookie.

Tight Ends

George Kittle is the starting TE for the Niners. Luke Farrell, Brayden Willis and Ross Dwelley are among the backup options.

Kittle is my No. 4 dynasty TE, which is impressive because he's 31 years old. He had 1,106 yards and eight scores last season, and that was only in 15 games, so the high ranking is justified.

Kittle is an elite fantasy TE still, but should really only be rostered by contending dynasty squads. Trade him now before his value has a chance to drop. For those contending, enjoy Kittle for as long as you can.

Farrell is 27, and won't be heavily involved offensively, even if Kittle isn't around. He has 318 yards and no scores over four years and 66 games in the league. He's got very little dynasty value remaining.

Dwelley is 30 years old and has 523 yards and five scores over 101 games and seven seasons. He too wouldn't be super involved offensively, even if he was starting or playing a ton of snaps. Don't roster him in dynasty leagues.

Willis has a little dynasty value as a 25-year-old, but he's yet to make a catch over three seasons. He too shouldn't be rostered in any leagues, and he's unlikely to ever take off.
