It's time for another dynasty overview of an NFL team. We'll check out the Seattle Seahawks here.
We already looked at the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Bills, Ravens, Vikings, Commanders, Chargers, Packers, Texans, Rams, Steelers, Buccaneers, Broncos, Bears, Colts, Cowboys, Jaguars and Dolphins. I plan to cover every NFL team, so keep checking back for more!

Quarterbacks
Sam Darnold is the new Seattle starting quarterback after a career-changing season with Minnesota.
Darnold isn't a top-10 dynasty QB now, and he never will be. Him being 28 years old, while having just one good season under his belt, is the reasoning for that.
Darnold had 4,319 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions across 17 games with the Vikings last season. He added 212 yards and a score on the ground.
Minnesota has done a good job with any quarterback under Kevin O'Connell, so I see Darnold regressing this season. I'm not saying he's going to bust and lose the starting job, but I don't see him as a big-time fantasy asset, both this season and any time in the long haul.
He's a fine second QB on a contending dynasty team, but I'd trade him away if my team wasn't competing, especially because his value is pretty high right now.
Drew Lock and rookie Jalen Milroe are others worth mentioning.
Lock is 29 years old now, so the thought of him eventually becoming a yearly starting option is fizzling out. He has value now as the team's top backup, but could eventually lose that role to Milroe. A change of scenery could help Lock out this season, but his long-term value is pretty low.
Milroe was a third-round pick, and in time, could work into a starting role. Darnold has just one good season under his belt, so he's no sure bet to hold down the starting job. Milroe is 23, and ideally, he's starting before he's 25. We'll see if he's able to become another Russell Wilson.
Running Backs
Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are the top-two backs in Seattle, while rookie Damien Martinez might be the No. 3 back and is worth discussing a bit. I'll briefly hit on Kenny McIntosh too.
None of them are top-10 dynasty backs, and it seems unlikely that any of them would get there, even though there's some dynasty value for all three guys.
Walker is the presumed starter, but has dealt with injuries over his three-year career. That's why he's not a top-10 back now, and he regressed a bit last season before some injuries, so that's not the best thing either.
Walker is just 24 years old, so he's got some gas in the tank yet and could be a decent fantasy asset if he stays healthy. He's already close to a point where I'd only want to roster him on a contending team - he's just not healthy enough to keep on a rebuilding team.
Charbonnet has shown some nice things in a secondary role, and while filling in for Walker the past two years. He's 24 years old as well, and could start for a good amount of teams in the league.
He's not all that involved when Walker is active though, so he's a good handcuff and might have some flex-level starting potential if the Seahawks run the ball a bit more this year. I'm fine rostering Charbonnet on any dynasty team, but I'm also not expecting monster things from him for several years, so if a trade offer for him comes in, I'd probably look to move him.
Martinez was a seventh-round pick, so he has an uphill climb to fantasy relevance. If Seattle parts with Walker and Charbonnet over the next couple years, then Martinez could become something in time.
He's more of a stash-and-hope prospect at this point, but the 21-year-old is worth rostering in a decent amount of leagues. It will be worth tracking his camp and preseason to see if he impresses and can maybe one day turn into a legit fantasy asset.
McIntosh is injured to start this season, but has some dynasty value as a third-year player and 25-year-old. He only has 194 yards and no scores over his first 20 NFL games though, so I'm not all that intrigued by him.
Wide Receivers
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the team's new No. 1 receiver. Some might say it's Cooper Kupp, but JSN will be the face of the wideout room for longer, so he's my top target.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the other projected starter, while Jake Bobo and rookies Tory Horton and Ricky White II are the top backups.
Smith-Njigba isn't on my top-10 dynasty wideout list, but he has a chance of maybe getting there one day. He's just 23 years old and is already entering his third NFL season.
JSN improved in his second season and had 1,156 yards and six touchdowns in total. Now that he's the No. 1 wideout, he has the chance to really shine. I'd be fine rostering him on a contending or rebuilding dynasty squad and think now is the time to buy into him, as big things are coming.
Kupp is on the back nine of his career as a 32-year-old, but I think he's got a couple decent seasons in him yet. Injuries have been an issue over the years, and he's failed to top 1,000 yards since 2021 as a result.
Kupp is a good secondary wideout for an offense, and should put up solid numbers for as many games as he's out there for. Roster him on a contending dynasty team only, otherwise sell him for future assets before his value falls any more.
Valdes-Scantling is already on his fifth team, and he's entering his eighth season. He hasn't gone over 425 yards since 2022, so he's just a third or fourth wideout option.
MVS is 30 years old, so he's only worth rostering as a depth option in deeper dynasty leagues and by contending teams. Sell him off for a future asset otherwise, because his dynasty value is drying up, and his value isn't likely to grow from here on.
Horton was a fifth-round pick, while White was a seventh-round selection. They have a chance to carve out roles as rookies, and in time could start alongside JSN if everything comes together. That might seem a bit far-fetched for a couple later picks, but you just never know. They are worth stashing in some deeper dynasty leagues as a result.
Bobo is 26 years old and has just 306 yards and four scores over his first two years and 34 NFL games. He'd only get involved this season after injuries, and it'd take a change of scenery most likely to give him much dynasty value moving forward.
Tight Ends
AJ Barner is the team's projected starter at tight end, but rookie Elijah Arroyo is the future at the position. Eric Saubert is another option higher on the depth chart.
Nobody is on the top-10 dynasty TE list of mine, but maybe Barner or Arroyo could be one day.
Barner is 23 years old and had 245 yards and four scores over 17 games in his rookie season. The 2024 fourth-round pick will have to fend off Arroyo, but maybe could carve out a role regardless, since there's not many great wideouts on the roster right now.
Arroyo was a second-round pick, so that's why I'm higher on him. The 22-year-old has a chance to gel with the new QB and factor into the offense right away this season.
His dynasty upside would be higher if Barner wasn't around, but in time, I think Arroyo emerges as the top tight end. He's got a pretty good chance at making the top-10 dynasty list, especially if he looks good as a rookie.
Saubert is a veteran option at 31 years old. He wouldn't have a big fantasy role even if he was the starter and playing a ton of snaps - he has 389 yards and three scores over 101 games in eight years. Avoid Saubert in dynasty leagues.
