Broncos Dynasty Fantasy Football Overview: Can Bo Nix and RJ Harvey Become Big-Time Assets?
Taking a look at the top Denver dynasty offensive players going into the 2025 season.
It's time for another dynasty fantasy football overview of an NFL team. To start the day, we'll check out the Denver Broncos.
We have already looked at the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Bills, Ravens, Vikings, Commanders, Chargers, Packers, Texans, Rams, Steelers and Buccaneers. I plan to cover every NFL team, so keep checking back for more!

Quarterbacks
Bo Nix is the team's starting quarterback, and he figures to be for a long time.
He had a good rookie season, but is just outside my top-10 dynasty quarterback list. Nix is 25 years old and could make that list with another big season in 2025.
Nix had 3,775 passing yards, 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last year. He added 430 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
Denver added more offensive talent around him, setting Nix up for bigger things in the years to come. If he improves on his rookie season, Nix will solidify himself as a quarterback to build around. He's already a good QB to roster if you are contending or rebuilding.
Jarrett Stidham is the team's top backup, while Sam Ehlinger is another QB on the roster. Stidham is a career backup and that's unlikely to change - he's 29 and has very little dynasty value outside being the team's top backup. Ehlinger is another backup at best, and is already 27, so he's got very little dynasty value remaining.
Running Backs
J.K. Dobbins is the team's veteran lead back, while RJ Harvey is a younger option. Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin are some backup options worth mentioning. None of them make my top-10 dynasty list, although Harvey could get there someday.
Dobbins is 26 years old and has dealt with injuries over his career. He played in 13 games a season ago with the Chargers, and produced 1,058 total yards and nine scores.
Dobbins might lead the backfield for now, but Harvey is the future of the team. I could see a pretty even split throughout the season though, so Dobbins has value on a contending dynasty team (otherwise I'd trade him away).
Harvey was a second-round pick of the team this offseason. In time, he should take over the backfield in Denver.
He's already 24 years old, which is a knock against him. Harvey was pretty heavily used in college too, so the tread on his tires is already pretty noticeable.
Harvey could erase all that with a monster rookie season. It's more likely he stays off the top-10 list, but remains a solid fantasy option for several seasons. You can roster him on any dynasty team, but he'll become a player to sell if you aren't contending sooner than most rookie backs, so keep that in mind if he starts hot - I'm suggesting to sell him high.
Estime was the team's fifth-round pick in 2024 and is just 21 years old. He had 337 total yards and two scores over 13 games as a rookie.
He clearly didn't show the team enough if they added a back in free agency and the draft, but Estime is young enough to still roster in a good amount of dynasty leagues. A change of scenery might be his best route to playing time, but maybe an injury will allow Estime to shine this season.
McLaughlin could be a cut candidate if the Broncos decide to only keep three backs, or if they prefer someone younger. McLaughlin is just 24 years old, but he's produced 1,142 yards and six touchdowns over two years, so he might have a little trade appeal to a RB-needy team.
He's still worth rostering in some deeper dynasty leagues, but I wouldn't be expecting much out of him in Denver anymore.
Wide Receivers
Courtland Sutton is the team's top wide receiver. Marvin Mims Jr. and Devaughn Vele are the projected starters alongside Sutton, while rookie Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin and Trent Sherfield Sr. are the top backup options for now.
Sutton is the closest to the top-10 list, but he's not on it, and won't ever be. Him being 29 years old is the biggest reason why, but he's still a good fantasy asset as the team's top target.
Sutton is worth rostering on contending dynasty teams, otherwise I'd sell him high. He's coming off a 2024 season in which he had 1,081 yards and eight scores over 17 games.
Mims is 23 years old and improved in his second NFL season. Last year, he had 545 total yards and six scores over 17 games.
He should take on more in his third season, and with the lack of pass catchers on the team, Mims should be a big part of the offense. His involvement could decrease if the Broncos add more receivers over the years, so if he gets rolling this season, that's a time to maybe sell him high. He looks more like a secondary receiver at this point to me.
Vele is going into his second NFL season, but is already 27 years old. He had 475 yards and three touchdowns over 13 contests.
Again, he'll be pretty involved for Denver, but he's more likely to lose his role over the years than turn into anything too special. He's a depth option in deeper dynasty leagues, but should probably only be rostered if you are contending - I'd look to sell him high if he gets off to a hot start this season.
Franklin is just 22 years old, but only had 271 yards and two scores over 16 games and six starts in his rookie year. Him being a backup on a team lacking good starters outside Sutton doesn't bode well for Franklin.
Maybe he could improve this season, and for that reason he's still worth holding on to in some deeper dynasty setups, but I'm not very confident in that happening.
Sherfield is a veteran option at 29 years old. He had 1,013 total yards and six scores over his first seven years in the league. Injuries could get him more involved this season, but his fantasy and dynasty values are very low right now, and that's likely to remain for his entire career.
Bryant was the team's third-round pick this offseason. The 22-year-old has some real dynasty value, and could work his way into a big role with a strong camp/preseason or after injuries.
He's an outside receiver at 6-foot-3, and with Sutton locking down one spot, he'd have to steal the spot of Mims or Vele. I'm willing to stash Bryant in a good amount of dynasty leagues, especially if my team was rebuilding.
Tight Ends
Evan Engram was brought in to lead the Broncos' tight end room. Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins, Lucas Krull and rookie Caleb Lohner are other options on the roster. None of those are close to the dynasty top-10 list.
Engram has redraft appeal, especially with the lack of proven pass catchers in Denver. At 30 years old, his dynasty value is waning, and I'd only want to roster him on a contending team.
He fizzled out in Jacksonville and only played nine games last season, so his value is down overall. Engram could be a sneaky good fantasy asset this season, but I'd expect Denver to find a long-term tight end in the coming years.
Trautman is 28 years old and has just 1,033 yards and nine scores over his five five years in the league. He's only going to be heavily involved if Engram is out, and even then, he won't be a major fantasy asset.
Adkins has 137 yards and three scores over his first 27 games in the NFL. He's 26 years old and doesn't have much fantasy or dynasty value.
Krull is 27 years old and has just 247 yards and a score over his first three years in the league. He won't be involved unless there's several injuries ahead of him.
Lohner was a seventh-round pick, so he has an uphill climb to relevance. He's also 24 years old already, so he's not as good a dynasty asset as one might think. Lohner also didn't do much in college in one season - he played college basketball before that and is a lottery ticket the Broncos are taking a gamble on. He should be treated as a lottery ticket in the deepest of dynasty leagues as well.
