Fading Draft Stock and Rotational Usage Diminish Fantasy Appeal
Entering his second season with the Broncos at age 32, Evan Engram is slated as a rotational pass-catcher behind Adam Trautman. Despite flashing his signature athleticism during training camp highlights, our projections anticipate a limited workload with 35 receptions for 385 yards and three touchdowns on 76 targets.
Market sentiment has cratered over the preseason. Engram's ADP experienced a massive drop from pick 297 in late July down past pick 800 by September. Roster rates have plummeted to just 4% in 1.0 PPR formats as fantasy managers have abandoned him as a draftable option.
With Bo Nix distributing targets to wideouts Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle, Engram lacks the high-volume foundation of his peak years. At this stage of his career, he is best viewed as a deep-league bench stash or waiver-wire watch candidate rather than an active fantasy contributor.
