Backup Quarterback Waiting in the Wings Behind Michael Penix Jr.

Operating as the primary backup behind Michael Penix Jr. on the Falcons' depth chart, Tua Tagovailoa enters the season with limited fantasy upside barring an injury to the starter. While head coach Kevin Stefanski has praised his throwing accuracy and ability to fit the offensive scheme, his current draft-day cost sits outside standard 1-QB radar.

His ADP has experienced a slight downward drift late in the summer, moving toward the 240s as drafters focus on locked-in starters.
