Unsigned Free Agent Status Clouded by Looming Retirement Questions

After nine seasons with the New Orleans Saints, veteran gadget weapon Taysom Hill announced his departure this summer and currently remains an unsigned free agent contemplating his future at 36 years old.

Head coach Sean Payton and the Broncos have explored bringing him to Denver, but no deal has materialized. Hill's production already showed signs of decline during his final season in New Orleans, where he averaged just 2.1 yards per carry on 62 rush attempts while securing 11 receptions for 91 yards.

Fantasy sentiment has completely dissolved in response to his teamless status, with his roster rate plummeting from 38% down to just 4% over the past month. Without a secured roster spot or defined red-zone role, Hill is strictly a waiver-wire watch list candidate rather than a draft target.
