Let's continue our dynasty fantasy football overview of NFL teams by looking at the Buffalo Bills.

We already went over the Eagles, Chiefs and Lions. We plan to cover every NFL team over the next few weeks, so keep checking back for more!

Quarterbacks

Josh Allen is the team's quarterback, and should be for several more years yet.

Allen is 29 years old, but should remain a top-end fantasy quarterback for several more seasons. I have him as my top dynasty quarterback going into the 2025 season.

Interceptions have been a negative for Allen, but he tossed just six picks last season. He should throw for around 30 touchdowns every season, while going for around 4,000 passing yards.

Adding on 500+ rushing yards and maybe double-digit touchdowns is what makes Allen an elite fantasy quarterback.

Some might worry about his durability in the long haul, but we're talking about a player who has played 16 or 17 games in each of the six seasons since his rookie year. Allen is durable, and should be able to maintain this level of play for several years before starting to maybe fall off a bit.

Mitchell Trubisky once had dynasty value, but he now looks destined to be a career backup QB now. He's the top backup in Buffalo, with Mike White and Shane Buechele also on the roster right now.

Nobody will have any fantasy value in Buffalo unless Allen is out, and like I just said, Allen doesn't miss many games. Trubisky is the QB you want in the really deep leagues where you need to protect yourself against an Allen injury.

Running Backs

James Cook is the team's top running back right now. He's backed up by Ty Johnson, Ray Davis, Darrynton Evans and Frank Gore Jr.

Cook isn't on my top-10 dynasty running back list, but he also wasn't far off it. Cook is just 25 years old and should have a couple more big seasons in him at least.

He's coming off his best fantasy season, but that was due to him scoring 18 total touchdowns - he topped out at six scores across his first two seasons, and had just nine total in those years.

Cook is capable of being a top-end fantasy back, but I see regression coming starting with this season, and he's only going to age and regress from here.

I'm still good with rostering Cook on a rebuilding or contending dynasty team. If he gets off to a fantastic start but your team is struggling, you might consider selling Cook high.

Davis is 25 years old, while Johnson is 27. Both did some solid things last season, but neither are big dynasty assets behind Cook. Even if Cook were to leave the roster, I think Buffalo would bring in an outside back and keep Davis and Johnson as secondary options.

They are fine to roster in deep dynasty leagues, especially as a handcuff to Cook, but because neither is the clear No. 2 back, that's not as easy to do.

Evans is just veteran depth, and Gore was an undrafted rookie signing of the team last year. Gore has a little dynasty value as a 23-year-old, but after not getting in a game last season, the fun story of following in his dad's footsteps seems far-fetched now.

Wide Receivers

There's a few dynasty assets at receiver for Buffalo.

Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir lead the wide receiver room, while Joshua Palmer was an offseason free agent signing. Laviska Shenault Jr., Elijah Moore and Curtis Samuel are some more depth guys. Kaden Prather was a seventh-round pick of the team, but appears buried on the depth chart for now.

None of those guys are all that close to a top-10 dynasty wideout spot right now for me.

Coleman is just 22 years old and showed some solid things in his rookie season. Across 13 games, he had 556 yards and four scores on 29 catches and 57 targets.

Most are expecting Coleman to eventually become the top wideout in Buffalo. I want to get on that train as well, but he might be a bit overhyped at this point, so I don't see him as a buy-low trade target. If you truly believe in him, then acquiring him now makes more sense than doing it after a breakout season.

Shakir had his best season in three tries in 2024. He went for 821 yards and four touchdowns across 15 games.

Shakir is 25 years old, but he looks more like a No. 2 option for a team than anything. He could benefit from a guy like Coleman stepping into the lead role.

Shakir is more a deep-league dynasty asset than someone to trust weekly in all leagues. His big games are hard to predict, but he still has enough dynasty value to roster in a good amount of leagues.

Palmer is 25 years old and is getting a fresh start after spending four seasons with the LA Chargers. Injuries have been a theme over the past couple years, with just 25 games played.

He's another secondary option for a passing game, but he could put up decent numbers with Buffalo if he sticks on the field. Again though, Palmer is more a deep-league dynasty asset, not someone you can trust every week in all leagues.

Moore could surprise this season and maybe get his career going finally. He's been a so-so wideout with the Browns and Jets over his first four years.

Moore is just 25 years old as well, but with Palmer also on the team, those two might be fighting for one spot, and might eventually cancel each other out pretty well.

I actually prefer Moore over Palmer because he's been on the field more consistently. Whoever has the better season in 2025 will be the better dynasty asset going forward.

Shenault hasn't done much since his rookie season. He's already on his fourth team. Samuel really underwhelmed in his first season in Buffalo, and now expectations are extremely low for year two. It's not even a given that both guys make the roster.

Prather is a name to keep tabs on. A seventh-round pick isn't much, but the Bills might give him a roster spot over some of the veterans, and in time, maybe Prather could surprise.

Right now, Prather is just a lottery pick in the deep dynasty leagues out there.

Tight Ends

Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox are two solid tight ends the Bills have. Kincaid is the better dynasty asset and ranks 10th on my list for now.

Kincaid took a step back in his second NFL season, going for just 448 yards and two scores over 13 games. He might not even be the starter this season.

Kincaid is just 25 years old, which is what is driving up his dynasty value. Another poor season will drop him off top-10 lists, while a bounceback season could see Kincaid really soar up lists.

It's a good buy-low time with Kincaid. You are taking a risk, but for the price he should be going, it's worth a gamble for a lot of dynasty owners.

Knox didn't do much last season, and with Kincaid around, he'll likely never be the fantasy threat he used to be.

Knox is 28 years old and his dynasty value has nearly fizzled up. He could still be a fantasy asset, but probably only in really deep leagues, or if Kincaid missed extended time.

Jackson Hawes is a name to keep an eye on after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He's more of a blocker, but maybe could emerge if Knox and Kincaid fizzle out in Buffalo.
