Jauan Jennings vs. MIA — Expanded Role Beckons With Justin Jefferson Sidelined
With Justin Jefferson ruled out due to an ankle injury, Jennings steps into a prime opportunity to see expanded slot snaps in Minnesota's passing game. After an inactive tag two weeks ago and just three targets across his first two appearances this season, the veteran receiver should see his playing time increase alongside Jordan Addison against an 0-3 Dolphins squad.
Our models project Jennings for roughly 3 receptions and 39 receiving yards (6.2 fantasy points), making him a viable deep-league flyer or desperation flex. While Minnesota enters as heavy 10-point favorites in a projected low-scoring affair, Jefferson's vacated targets give Jennings a clear path to beat his modest 2% start rate.
