Julian Strawther Season Outlook: Bench Role Limits Fantasy Appeal

Julian Strawther enters his fourth NBA campaign fighting for steady bench minutes on a competitive Denver Nuggets roster. Sitting behind veteran DeMar DeRozan on the small forward depth chart, Strawther must carve out secondary minutes on the wing. While recent preseason action strengthened his case for a regular rotational job, fantasy rosters have largely moved on, with his roster rate sitting at zero percent.

Our season projections slate Strawther for 13.1 minutes per game across 68 appearances, reflecting a modest reserve role. We project him to average 10.3 fantasy points and 6.5 points per game while shooting an efficient 47.2% from the field. Because his counting stats remain lean outside of perimeter scoring, his fantasy utility remains strictly limited.

Strawther does not warrant drafting in standard leagues to start the season. His path to fantasy relevance hinges on rotational injuries in Denver to unlock meaningful playing time. Keep him on deep-league watchlists as a potential perimeter streamer.
