Elite Athleticism and Playmaking Upside Make Rookie Tight End an Intriguing Late-Round Target

The Jets made a splash by selecting Kenyon Sadiq in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Although he currently sits behind Mason Taylor on the depth chart, we project Sadiq to quickly carve out a significant role in the passing game. He brings rare, explosive athleticism to the position, drawing rave reviews as a potential big-play threat who can stretch the field.

We project Sadiq to make an immediate impact, forecasting 57 receptions for 558 yards and four touchdowns on 69 targets. Fantasy managers should not be deterred by his late-May minor hernia procedure; he was working on the side in June and is expected to be fully healthy for training camp.

In PPR leagues, Sadiq's draft stock has settled around an ADP of 140 after climbing into the 120s earlier this summer. At this late-round price tag, our models view the rookie as a massive value opportunity. He has the elite physical profile to easily outperform his current draft position as he acclimates to the offense.
