Deep Dynasty Reserve Stymied by Crowded Jets Backfield

Isaiah Davis enters his third NFL season firmly entrenched as a depth option in the New York Jets' backfield. Operating behind Breece Hall and Braelon Allen, Davis will struggle to find consistent weekly opportunities. Last season, he showcased solid efficiency in a limited role with 47 carries and 21 catches, but our projections expect a step back in usage this year, forecasting just 35 rush attempts and 13 receptions.

Fantasy managers have reacted accordingly, with his roster rate sliding down to 5% over the summer. His standard PPR ADP has stagnated at 555, recovering from a brief slide into the 800s in early June but remaining strictly in the territory of deep dynasty stashes. This frozen draft cost shows the market correctly identifies him as a backup to a backup, offering zero standalone value.
