Let's continue our series looking at the top dynasty offensive fantasy players on each NFL team by going over the Dallas Cowboys.

We already looked at the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Bills, Ravens, Vikings, Commanders, Chargers, Packers, Texans, Rams, Steelers, Buccaneers, Broncos, Bears and Colts. I plan to cover every NFL team, so keep checking back for more!

Quarterbacks

Dak Prescott is the team's starting quarterback. I expect that to continue for a while yet, or at least for Prescott to be starting for some team.

He's not a top-10 dynasty quarterback as he's 32 years old now. Prescott can still be a fantasy asset for contending dynasty teams though, and that means he has value yet.

Again, only roster him on a contending dynasty squad, otherwise you should be trading him for future assets. His value is a bit lower after only playing eight games last season, so you could wait until he earns back some value before looking to trade him away.

Joe Milton III is the top backup in Dallas, while Will Grier is also on the roster.

Milton showed some promise as the Patriots' backup QB last season and is only 25, so he has some dynasty value and is worth stashing in some deep setups. If he shows enough in camp and preseason, he could eventually take over for Prescott.

Grier is just a depth option after being a third-round pick in 2019. He's 30 years old and should only get NFL regular season action after multiple injuries - a change of scenery wouldn't help his cause either.

Running Backs

Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders are part of a revamped Cowboys' backfield. Rookie Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah are a couple other options, while Deuce Vaughn might be on the outside looking in.

None of those guys are top-10 dynasty backs, and it'd be a surprise to ever see one of them on it.

Williams is joining his second NFL team after a four-year run in Denver. He had a couple solid seasons, but was never utilized as a workhorse back.

He's unlikely to become a workhorse in Dallas, even though he's maybe the best option on the team for now. The 25-year-old has some dynasty value left, but he should be viewed as more of a secondary option. If you are looking to trade him away, now might not be a bad time, as some expect him to lead this backfield this season.

Sanders is on his third team and is entering his seventh season in the NFL. He had a couple big seasons with Philly, but struggled and was run out of Carolina.

The 28-year-old isn't a very good dynasty option, but he has some value this season at least. Only roster him if your dynasty team is contending, and only view him as a secondary option, or pair him with Williams.

Blue has dynasty appeal as a 21-year-old. He was the team's fifth-round pick this offseason.

In time, Blue could work his way into the lead role in Dallas. That might not come until 2026, but he's worth stashing in some dynasty leagues for sure.

Mafah could also work his way into a big role in time, but as a seventh-round pick and already being 22 and going on 23, his dynasty value is much lower than Blue. On a team desperate for running back help though, Mafah is worth stashing in some deep dynasty leagues.

Vaughn could be a cut candidate if he doesn't have a big camp/preseason. The 23-year-old has just 168 total yards and no scores over 14 NFL games in his first two seasons in the league.

A change of scenery could give him a dynasty boost, but he's only worth stashing in the deepest of leagues right now.

Wide Receivers

CeeDee Lamb is the team's top wideout and is my No. 6 dynasty wideout. George Pickens adds a much-needed No. 2 wideout in Dallas, while Jalen Tolbert is the other projected starter. Jalen Brooks, Jonathan Mingo and KaVontae Turpin are the top backups, with Ryan Flournoy, Parris Campbell and Jalen Cropper as other options.

Lamb was limited to 15 games last season, but still had 1,264 yards and six scores despite Prescott missing most of those contests. He is a top-end fantasy receiver, and should get back to that level this season if everyone stays healthy.

He's 26 years old, so he's still worth rostering on a contending or rebuilding dynasty squad. I think the deep rebuild owners should heavily consider moving Lamb this season, but wait until he has a couple big games to get his trade value back up a bit.

Pickens is just 24 years old, but is already on his second NFL team going into year four in the league. He has topped out at 1,158 yards and five scores, and regressed a bit last season, although he missed three games.

If Pickens can just focus on playing football, he has the chance to still be a good/great fantasy asset. He has the chance to shine as the No. 2 guy in Dallas, but we'll see how well his ego can handle playing second fiddle.

He's worth rostering in all dynasty leagues, and should be startable almost every week this season. Depending on how you view him in the long run, now is either a time to buy a bit lower on Pickens, or try to sell high at some point this season.

Tolbert is 26 years old and is coming off his best season. He had 610 yards and seven scores over 17 contests.

Even as the No. 3 receiver, Tolbert could put up good fantasy numbers still, so I think he's a bit underrated. I believe in him still, and think he's a good secondary option in dynasty leagues - he can start in some deep setups. If you don't like his outlook for the long haul, you could sell him high at some point this season.

Turpin is 28, so he's a cut candidate this season. He had 512 yards and two scores over 17 games last season, which is underwhelming when you know Lamb and others missed time. A change of scenery could put him into a bigger role, but his dynasty value isn't likely to be anything more than a depth wideout going forward.

Brooks is 25 years old, but has just 241 yards and a score over his first 21 NFL games. He could see his value increase with a change of scenery, but again, he's not likely to ever be a big fantasy asset anywhere, so he's just a depth option in deeper setups.

Mingo is running out of time to turn his NFL career around. The 24-year-old (and former second-round pick) has just 590 yards and no touchdowns over his first 32 NFL games. I'm out on him as a dynasty asset, but he'll be stashed in some deep setups still.

Campbell is a veteran option as a 28-year-old. He had a good season in 2022 with Indy, but has failed to make a difference with the Giants and Eagles over the past two seasons. I don't see him making an impact with Dallas, or anyone else for that matter.

Flournoy is 25, while Cropper is 24. Flournoy had 102 yards and no scores over 11 games in his rookie season. Cropper got in one game in his rookie season. Both guys are cut candidates, and are unlikely to be assets for any other NFL teams.

Tight Ends

Jake Ferguson is the starting tight end for the Cowboys. Luke Schoonmaker is a capable backup, while Brevyn Spann-Ford is next up on the depth chart.

Ferguson just got an extension, so he'll be in Dallas for a while. He has work to do to get on my top-10 dynasty TE list though.

The 26-year-old is a good dynasty option for contending squads out there. Ferguson battled injuries last season, but is a decent asset, even as the team's third or fourth pass-catching option. He's unlikely to ever crack the top-10 list, but he's got a chance to be an asset for several more years yet.

Schoonmaker has done his best work with Ferguson out of action over the past couple seasons. He has just 306 yards and three scores over 34 games played though.

At 26 years old and as a likely No. 2 TE for his career, Schoonmaker doesn't have much dynasty value, and is only worth rostering in deeper dynasty setups.

Spann-Ford had 88 yards and no scores over 17 games in his first NFL season. He's just a depth option, and doesn't have much dynasty value as a 25-year-old already.
