It's time for another dynasty overview of an NFL team's best offensive players. Here, we'll check out the Carolina Panthers.

We already looked at the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Bills, Ravens, Vikings, Commanders, Chargers, Packers, Texans, Rams, Steelers, Buccaneers, Broncos, Bears, Colts, Cowboys, Jaguars, Dolphins, Seahawks, Patriots, Giants, Raiders, Cardinals and Bengals. I plan to cover every NFL team, so keep checking back for more!

Quarterbacks

Bryce Young is still the team's starter, but isn't a top-10 dynasty QB because of some subpar play over his career, and not knowing if he's locked into the starting role for the long haul.

The 24-year-old has shown glimpses of good things over his first 30 NFL games, but also not stood out. So he's on the outside of the top 10, and unless he has a monster 2025 season, he isn't likely to ever get on that list.

Young is more of a third dynasty quarterback going into this season than a guy you want to be counting on weekly. Even in deeper setups, or two-QB leagues, I'd only view Young as a secondary option.

He's an OK quarterback to stash in all dynasty leagues yet given his age. Maybe he will turn into a better fantasy option and emerge as the Panthers' franchise QB starting with this season.

If Young doesn't pan out, there's not another young option on the roster for now. Andy Dalton is still the top backup, and Jake Plummer is the only other QB on the roster.

Dalton is a serviceable starting QB at this point of his career, but is more likely to be a mentor and backup option. He's 38 years old, so his dynasty value is very low. He could be worth adding if Young gets injured, or benched again, but he's definitely not a good long-term asset.

Plummer is nearly 26 years old already and is likely destined for a backup role his whole career. His dynasty value is almost zero.

Running Backs

Chuba Hubbard is the team's starting running back going into the season. Rico Dowdle is a veteran depth option, while rookie Trevor Etienne and Raheem Blackshear are a couple other options.

None of those guys are on my dynasty top-10 list, and it's highly unlikely anyone ever gets there.

Hubbard is 26 years old, which is why he isn't on the list, or ever will be. He's had at least 1,100 total yards and has combined for 16 touchdowns over the past two seasons, so he has value now.

Hubbard is a better option for a contending dynasty squad, otherwise I'd look to maybe sell him high now. If your rebuild is still a couple years off, it makes more sense to trade him before his value falls.

Dowdle is 27 and now is going to be on his second team. He made his NFL debut in 2020, and put together his best season in 2024, racking up 1,328 yards and five scores across 16 games.

He could carve out a decent role on this Carolina offense, but his upside is definitely down with Hubbard ahead of him, and a rookie on his heels. For that reason, Dowdle would be worth rostering by contending dynasty teams only, otherwise I'd sell him high.

You could wait and sell him if Hubbard ever gets injured, but that's not a great way to approach things. Handcuffing Hubbard with Dowdle makes plenty of sense to me.

Etienne was a fourth-round pick of the team this offseason. The 21-year-old has a chance to become something in time in Carolina, but might need a little luck to go his way.

Hubbard is locked in for several more seasons, so Etienne is either going to have to play his way into a bigger role, or need Hubbard's career to be dismantled to overtake him.

Blackshear will be a cut candidate and could use a change of scenery with three solid backs ahead of him. He's entering his fourth season and has just 341 total yards and three scores over 41 games played.

Blackshear isn't likely to have a bigger role even with another team, so he's unlikely to ever be a big fantasy asset ever. At 26 years old, his dynasty value has nearly dried up already.

Wide Receivers

Rookie Tetairoa McMillan was drafted in the first round to be the team's lead wideout, so that's how I view him going into his rookie season. Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette are the other projected starters, while David Moore, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow and rookie Jimmy Horn Jr. are some backup options worth mentioning.

McMillan is the closest to my dynasty top-10 list, and he could maybe get there some day. The 22-year-old has done some nice things in camp, and I think the only way he doesn't lead the team in receiving is if he gets hurt at any point.

McMillan should be rostered in all dynasty leagues, and I'd have high hopes for him helping out right away in his rookie season. Now is the time to buy into him, because a big showing as a rookie will make him extremely hard to acquire.

Legette had 521 yards and four scores over 16 games as a rookie. He was the No. 32 overall pick in 2024.

The 24-year-old showed some signs of promise at times last season, but never really popped. Maybe he will with a good receiver opposite him? Legette is still worth stashing in most dynasty setups, but he probably needs to show something this season to really take off as a dynasty asset.

Thielen is 34 years old, so his time in the league is starting to wind down. He had 615 yards and five scores over just 10 games last season, so he still has something left to give.

He could wind up as the team's No. 2 pass-catching option after McMillan, which makes him worth rostering by contending dynasty squads still. He's more of a flex option in deeper setups, but is a solid depth option to have around, especially if he picks up where he left off last season.

Renfrow didn't play a game last season, but is hoping a change of scenery can help him out. He had 330 and 255 yards in his final two years with the Raiders, but went for at least 600 yards, and topped out at 1,041 yards in 2021, in his first three years in the league.

Renfrow is 29 years old, so his dynasty value isn't that high anymore, but he could be worth rostering in some deep setups. I'd only do that if my team was contending.

Moore is 30 years old, so he's another veteran option with not much dynasty value. He had 351 yards and three touchdowns last season, so he's only a depth option in the deepest of leagues, and should again only be rostered by a contending team.

Coker produced 478 yards and two scores over his 11-game rookie season. For being an undrafted rookie, he actually made a name for himself. The 23-year-old has some dynasty value, and is worth stashing just in case he continues to improve. It'd have to be a deeper league in order to warrant stashing him still, but he's a name to keep tabs on.

Horn was a sixth-round pick, so he's got an uphill battle to future fantasy relevance. There's several veteran wideouts in Carolina, and in time, Horn could pass them on the depth chart. He's worth stashing in some deeper setups, but is otherwise a player to keep tabs on.

Tight Ends

Tommy Tremble appears to be the team's starting tight end, but Ja'Tavion Sanders is another intriguing prospect. Rookie Mitchell Evans rounds out the top trio of tight ends.

There's a chance one of them reaches my top-10 TE list eventually, but for now, none of them are on it, or all that close to it.

Tremble is 25 years old and already entering his fifth NFL season. He has 793 yards and 10 touchdowns so far, but hasn't topped 250 yards in a season.

He's on the physically unable to perform list to start the season, and that could be what Sanders or Evans need to bury him on the depth chart. Tremble has some dynasty value, but it might be worth trying to trade him now, because his future doesn't look super promising - you won't get much for a return, but it's better than him just fading away.

Sanders is just 22 years old and posted 342 yards and a score over 16 games in his rookie year. I like the 2024 fourth-round pick eventually taking over as the top tight end, and think he has a decent chance at landing on the top-10 list, although he'll need Young to step up for that to occur.

Evans was a fifth-round pick this offseason, so he could have some fantasy value in time if he develops. He's 22 years old but didn't exactly pop off in college. He's more of a lottery ticket who should be stashed in deeper dynasty leagues.
