Craig Kimbrel and Vinnie Pasquantino Among Saturday's Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Options
Looking at a few waiver wire hitters and pitchers to consider adding in fantasy baseball leagues.
I have some more fantasy baseball waiver wire options to consider adding on Saturday, June 7.
I won't include anyone who appeared in waiver stories earlier in the week. Here are the hitting waiver stories (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and pitching waiver articles (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from earlier in the week.
No pitchers from Saturday's streaming story will be covered either.

Should You Add Craig Kimbrel?
Kimbrel has been added in 3.88% of leagues, and his total percentage is up to 9.14%.
He was called up by the Braves after an epic ninth-inning collapse on Thursday.
This is Kimbrel's 16 MLB season he'll be appearing in, but he's been in the minor leagues so far. Across stops at Double-A and Triple-A, Kimbrel has covered 18 innings this year.
Kimbrel has allowed six runs (four earned) on eight hits and nine walks, while striking out 23 batters. He's 1-1 with three saves.
Over the first 15 MLB seasons of his career, Kimbrel has a 56-47 record and 440 saves. He's pitched in 837 games and covered 809 2/3 innings. Kimbrel has allowed 259 runs (233 earned) on 482 hits and 339 walks, while striking out 1,265 batters.
He just turned 37 years old, and his glory days are probably well behind him. In 57 games in 2024 with the Orioles, Kimbrel had a 7-5 record and 23 saves, but posted a 5.33 ERA over 52 1/3 innings.
The Braves need help closing out games though, and Kimbrel is a veteran presence who might immediately be the team's closer. He appeared in the team's 10-inning loss to the Giants on Friday, pitching the seventh inning. Kimbrel allowed a hit and a walk, but also struck out a batter to work out of trouble.
Kimbrel will need to earn saves in order to really be a big fantasy asset. Right now, he's being added in hopes that he eventually becomes the team's closer. That could take some time though.
Kimbrel is worth keeping an eye on given his history of success, but for now, he probably should only be added and rostered in the deepest of fantasy leagues.
Should You Add Vinnie Pasquantino?
Pasquantino is rostered in 84% of fantasy leagues right now. He's ever so slightly trending up over the past couple days.
Pasquantino is on a six-game hitting streak, and he's collected 10 total knocks over the 27 plate appearances in that stretch. He has a double among the hits, along with six RBIs, two runs scored and three walks and strikeouts.
It's been a pretty slow start to the season for Pasquantino, but he's up to a .267 average and .319 OBP across 62 games and 263 plate appearances now. He's right at his career mark for average, and is only 13 points below his career OBP.
Pasquantino's power is a bit down this season. He has eight homers, seven doubles and a triple among his 65 total hits. Pasquantino also has 36 RBIs, 23 runs scored, 16 walks and 44 strikeouts this season.
If nothing else, Pasquantino's recent hot streak has gotten him back on track for the season. He's not delivering the power and run production numbers he has in the past though, so it's fair to see his own percentage where it is.
More strong hitting might get Pasquantino moving in the right direction with his own percentage, and a power surge soon would likely get him re-added in all standard leagues. He's a player to keep close tabs on in case his power returns soon.

Should You Add Taj Bradley?
Bradley will be pitching on Saturday, so he's another streaming option. He's rostered in 80% of fantasy leagues, and that number should rise before his Saturday start.
He's started 12 times this season, and the Rays are 6-6 in those games. Bradley is 4-5 with a 3.95 earned run average.
Across 70 2/3 innings, Bradley has allowed 33 runs (31 earned) on 58 hits and 27 walks. He also has struck out 64 batters so far.
He has a favorable matchup on paper against the Marlins - Miami is one of the better fantasy matchups for an opposing starting pitcher. However, we've already seen Bradley start against the Marlins this season, and it didn't go well.
Bradley worked just four innings against the Marlins on May 16. He allowed five runs on six hits and three walks, while striking out six batters. He was at 82 pitches when he was removed from the contest.
I think there's a good chance Bradley performs better in this start, but I definitely would have to think about streaming him after seeing his numbers from that first start against Miami.
Bradley has been much better in his three starts since that outing. He's 1-2, but has a 1.80 ERA over 20 innings. Bradley has allowed six runs (four earned) on 12 hits and five walks, while punching out 23 batters. He faced the Astros twice and Twins once in that span.
Bradley is a good/great deep-league starting option for Saturday, and he's a pretty solid standard league streaming asset today too. I'd do my best to block out that last start against the Marlins. Trust the numbers Bradley has posted of late, and the Marlins have posted all season.
He has a solid floor and high ceiling for today's start, and I'd be willing to start him in all leagues today.
Should You Add Ryan Yarbrough?
Yarbrough was added in 5.13% of leagues, bringing his overall mark up to 54.85%.
He's made 13 appearances this season, and has started the past five times he's taken the mound. Overall, Yarbrough is 3-0 with a 2.83 ERA over 41 1/3 innings, with 40 strikeouts.
In the five starts, he's 3-0 with a 2.08 ERA over 26 innings. Yarbrough has allowed six runs on 16 hits and five walks, while striking out 24 batters.
He will be facing the Red Sox on Saturday. That's a pretty solid fantasy matchup on paper, and is a matchup that hasn't happened yet in 2025.
Yarbrough has pitched well this season, so it makes sense to see him rostered in most deeper leagues. He's a good streaming option in those leagues for his start today.
I'd also be willing to start Yarbrough in some standard leagues today. He's not a must-start pitcher, but the matchup is right for him to excel and put up some solid fantasy results for you.
Should You Add David Fry?
Fry is just getting his 2025 season underway. He's only owned in 4% of leagues right now.
Across his first four games and eight plate appearances, Fry has a single for his lone hit, one RBI, no runs scored, a stolen base and walk and four strikeouts.
Across 122 games and 392 plate appearances in 2024, Fry had a .263 average and .356 OBP. He had 18 doubles, 14 homers and a triple among his 88 total hits, along with 51 RBIs, four stolen bases, 44 runs scored, 42 walks and 84 strikeouts.
He was an All-Star reserve last season before falling off in the latter portion of the season. Fry had surgery on his right UCL last November, and he's not expected to play the field at all in 2025. Fry has been the designated hitter for his three starts so far.
Fry had some fantasy relevance last season, and should be able to at least have some deep-league appeal again in 2025. He'll be added in a few more leagues as people realize he's back on the field again. It will take stronger results at the plate for his own percentage to really soar.
Standard league owners should maybe have him on their watch list, but it seems unlikely that he'd return to an All-Star level of play again. He's at least worth keeping tabs on though, just in case.
