After looking at five fantasy baseball waiver wire hitters to possibly add, let's now check in on some fantasy pitchers.

We won't include anyone who appeared in Monday's waiver story, or Tuesday's streaming article.

Check out the top fantasy baseball waiver wire options everyday on FantasySP.

Should You Add Chase Dollander?

Dollander is owned in just 8% of leagues right now. He's been on the injured list, but is set to start on Tuesday.

Dollander has made eight starts so far this season, and the lowly Rockies are just 2-6 in those contests. He's got a 2-5 record and 6.28 earned run average over 38 2/3 innings. Dollander has allowed 30 runs (27 earned) on 37 hits and 18 walks, while striking out 38 batters.

His win-loss record and ERA are rough, but his strikeout work is appealing. Dollander is simply allowing too many baserunners, and has already surrendered 10 home runs.

Dollander will start on Tuesday against the Marlins, which is a very favorable fantasy matchup for a starting pitcher. He has not faced Miami yet this season.

Dollander had been trending up before he hit the injured list, allowing just three runs over his final 10 2/3 innings, while striking out 13 batters over those starts. Dollander has allowed four or more runs in half of his starts, but has two or less runs allowed in the other four, so it's been an up-and-down start to his career.

In the favorable matchup on Tuesday, I'd be willing to stream Dollander, but only in the deepest of leagues. He simply hasn't shown enough in his time in the big leagues to trust more, and coming off the IL, you never know what to expect from any pitcher, let alone a rookie.

Dollander might face the Mets after this start, so this is a true one-and-done streaming opportunity. Only pick up Dollander and stream him in the deepest of leagues or if you're desperate.

Should You Add Sawyer Gipson-Long?

Gipson-Long is in a very similar boat to Dollander. Gipson-Long is scheduled to come off the IL and start on Tuesday for the Tigers.

The starting pitcher is up 7.6% today and is now rostered in 16.67% of leagues.

Gipson-Long has not pitched since 2023 though, and his four starts that season were his only MLB appearances in his career. He covered 20 innings and went 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 14 hits and eight walks, while striking out 26 batters.

He made just one minor league appearance in 2024, covering three innings. Gipson-Long has made five minor league starts this season, and has only worked 16 1/3 innings. He had a 2.20 ERA in those five starts and struck out 16 batters along the way.

If he ends up starting Tuesday, he'll take on the lowly White Sox. That's another really favorable matchup, but with not much minor league work under his belt this season, Gipson-Long's fantasy ceiling is capped quite a bit tonight.

Gipson-Long is still worth adding and streaming in some deeper redraft leagues. Even if you don't feel comfortable starting him, picking him up is a decent move in my eyes.

He had some MLB success a couple years ago and could become a fantasy starter for most of his turns through the rotation. Gipson-Long could eventually be utilized in standard leagues, so he's a fantasy arm to keep an eye on.

Should You Add Luis Severino?

Severino is rostered in 52.59% of leagues after a 3.26% increase today.

He made a start against the Twins on Monday and was rocked over his 5 2/3 innings. Severino allowed eight runs on nine hits and a walk, while striking out just one batter.

Severino has made 13 starts this season, going 1-5 with a 4.54 ERA over 77 1/3 innings. He's allowed 41 runs (39 earned) on 75 hits and 23 walks, while striking out 55 batters.

You might be wondering how Severino is on the rise looking at his most recent start and season numbers. Well, his next two probable starts are pretty favorable.

Severino might face the Orioles and Royals in his next two starts. Both of those matchups are solid enough to consider streaming Severino in, although so was his start against the Twins. He has not faced either team yet this season.

Severino would only be a streaming option in deeper redraft leagues to me in those two starts. He hasn't been consistent enough on the mound, and his last start was one to forget.

Severino was trending up before that, so I understand if some believe he will bounce back in his next two starts, but I'd have to believe there's better options out there. The thing Severino does well is cover innings, but these blowup starts and low strikeout numbers make a deeper start mute.

Should You Add Cade Horton?

Horton is another streaming option on Tuesday. He's rostered in 40.58% of leagues after a 5.74% increase today.

Horton has appeared in four games, starting three and then being the bulk reliever for the other contest. The Cubs are 4-0 in his appearances, and Horton is 2-0 with a 3.98 ERA over 20 1/3 innings.

Horton has allowed nine runs on 21 hits and four walks. He's struck out 16 batters along the way.

The young pitcher will start against the Nationals on Tuesday. That's a pretty favorable matchup in what's been a string of favorable matchups for Horton. He faced the Mets first, then started against the White Sox, Marlins and Rockies. Really, this is his second-most difficult start yet.

I still like the idea of streaming Horton in deeper leagues. He's pitched well in his three starts, and is coming off his best start yet. The matchup is good enough to have Horton deliver good results tonight.

Horton could also be a standard league streaming possibility. There's not a ton of great matchups and streaming options available, so you need to assess things in your league and see if Horton is maybe worth utilizing tonight.

Should You Add Zack Littell?

Littell was added in 3.94% of leagues and is now owned in 47.41% overall.

He had a good month of May, winning four of his six starts. He covered 40 2/3 innings, allowing 13 runs on 37 hits and three walks, while striking out 26 batters.

The Rays are 7-5 in his 12 starts so far this season. Littell is 5-5 with a 3.86 ERA over 74 2/3 innings. He's allowed 32 runs on 71 hits and 11 walks, while striking out 48 batters.

Littell worked nine innings in his last game, and has gone over six frames in five of his past six outings. His strikeouts numbers are down for the season, but he has 16 over his past three starts.

His upcoming probable start against the Marlins is another reason why he's on the rise. Littell hasn't faced them yet this season, but that favorable matchup should allow the veteran pitcher to continue his recent success on the bump.

I'm for adding and utilizing Littell in all deeper redraft leagues for that start against the Marlins. I'd definitely consider him in standard leagues too, but not call him a must-start pitcher.

He could face the Red Sox after that outing. Littell took a loss against Boston earlier this season, but allowed just one run over six innings. I'd call Littell a great deep-league starting option in that one, and another possible standard league streaming option.

Littell is one to watch, especially if his strikeout numbers bounce back. He was a pretty good fantasy asset in 2024, and is trending toward those same numbers of late.
