Tuesday is here, which means it's time for our second round of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles.

We'll start with hitters and not cover anyone who appeared in Monday's article. Check back soon for the pitching waiver wire story.

Check out the top fantasy baseball waiver wire options everyday on FantasySP.

Should You Add Roman Anthony?

As promised, Anthony is the most-added fantasy baseball waiver wire option on Tuesday morning. We looked at him on Monday in a fantasy outlook story, but are going to go a little more in depth with him after his first big league game.

He's now rostered in 73% of leagues after an 11.57% increase.

Anthony started in right field and batted fifth in his MLB debut on Monday night. That should be a good guess as to where he'll slot in over the next couple weeks, as Wilyer Abreu hit the injured list for the Red Sox.

Anthony got five plate appearances in the team's extra-inning loss to Tampa Bay. He went 0-for-4 with a walk and strikeout. Anthony drove in a run on a groundout.

There was nothing super flashy about Anthony's MLB debut, but as the game's No. 1 prospect, he's worth the hype and added ownership in fantasy leagues. At the very least, I think he should be added and stashed in all redraft leagues for the next week or so.

Anthony has the talent to become one of the game's top fantasy hitters in short order if everything comes together. He could change the course of your fantasy season, so stashing him a week or so would take a gamble on a high-upside player. You wouldn't have to start him if you didn't want to, but I think it's a gamble worth taking.

It doesn't appear that he's going to immediately jump to 100% owned like I think he should. For that reason, you need to keep a very close eye on Anthony, because all it would take for him to get to 100% would be a big game or two.

Should You Add Ronny Mauricio?

Mauricio was called up to the big leagues a week ago. He's up to 27.86% rostered after a 3.42% increase.

He's played in five games so far, and the Mets are 4-1 in those contests. Mauricio has gotten 21 plate appearances, and he has five hits and two walks so far. He's homered and doubled among the hits, along with tallying an RBI, four runs scored, two stolen bases and five strikeouts.

Mauricio has gotten his 2025 MLB season off to a nice start, and he looks like a player who could become a fantasy asset in short order. All of his hits have come in the past three games, so he's maybe at the start of a hot stretch at the very least.

He's played third base three times, shortstop once and also served as the designated hitter. In other words, it looks like the Mets want to get his bat in the lineup often, and it might help him gain position eligibility at a few spots.

I'm still a fan of adding Mauricio in deeper redraft leagues. He could be added and immediately started with how he's producing at the plate of late, and he could stick as a daily starter the rest of the season. Why not take that gamble in a deeper league?

Standard league owners need to keep a close eye on Mauricio too. All he would need is a week or so of more good numbers at the plate to start getting consideration in those leagues.

Should You Add Carlos Narvaez?

Narvaez is up 3.31% and is owned in 26.45% of leagues now.

For the season, Narvaez has a .281 average and .359 on-base percentage across 51 games and 192 plate appearances. He has six homers and 12 doubles among his 48 total hits, along with 22 RBIs, a stolen base, 28 runs scored, 21 walks and 48 strikeouts.

Narvaez has gone hitless in four of his seven games this month, but still has a solid .250 average and great .423 OBP. Narvaez has a double and homer among his five hits this month, along with five RBIs, seven runs scored, six walks and seven strikeouts.

So even when Narvaez isn't racking up a ton of hits, he's still a productive fantasy player. That's what all fantasy owners like to see.

He's started four of the team's past five games, and has hit cleanup for all those starts. That's another positive for Narvaez and his fantasy outlook.

I like the idea of adding Narvaez in deeper redraft leagues. He's a productive hitter, and at a weaker fantasy position where production is usually inconsistent.

Narvaez is actually just outside the top 10 in points leagues so far this season. That means he should be on the cusp of being owned and utilized in standard leagues. In other words, Narvaez is overlooked and underappreciated for what he's doing this fantasy season.

Add Narvaez in deeper redraft leagues and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, don't be afraid to add and utilize Narvaez in standard leagues. He's a great secondary option at the very least, and could start when your regular catcher is out/off or if Narvaez is excelling at the plate.

Should You Add Jesus Sanchez?

Sanchez is up another 4.96% today, bringing his overall mark to 23.14%.

He went hitless on Monday, but still added an RBI. Sanchez has been on a roll since May 25, collecting 18 hits over 14 games and 54 plate appearances.

Sanchez has three homers and four doubles among his hits, and has also posted 13 RBIs, a stolen base, nine runs scored, two walks and 15 strikeouts over that span.

He's another overlooked fantasy asset right now. Sanchez has a .262 average and .342 OBP for the season, which has covered 46 games and 187 plate appearances so far. Sanchez has six doubles, a triple and five homers among his 43 total hits, along with 25 RBIs, six stolen bases, 19 runs scored, 20 walks and 43 strikeouts.

Sanchez is likely to top out as a deep-league fantasy asset because he typically isn't starting against left-handed pitchers. He's still a good fantasy option because he's hitting second against right-handed pitchers, which obviously happens far more often.

Sanchez is worth adding in some more deeper redraft leagues, even if that's just until his production drops off a bit. Again, he'll likely top out as a deep-league asset, and we'll cover him again if he ever gets close to standard league consideration.

Should You Add Jo Adell?

Adell is now rostered in 22.04% of leagues after a 4.41% increase.

His season-long numbers are not the best. Across 58 games and 195 plate appearances, Adell has a .226 average and .297 OBP. He has 12 homers and seven doubles among his 40 total knocks, along with 32 RBIs, two stolen bases, 21 runs scored, 12 walks and 47 strikeouts.

Adell has been in a groove at the plate since May 21, when he sat with a .189 average and .244 OBP. He has 17 hits over those 17 games, and a .309 average and .306 OBP. Adell has seven of his homers and two of his doubles in that stretch, along with 14 RBIs, a stolen base, 10 runs scored, five walks and 12 strikeouts.

It's easy to see why Adell is on the rise. He has started the past five games for the Angels, but has batted between seventh-eighth in the lineup, which is the only downside to his fantasy outlook right now.

I'm not as high on Adell as I am Sanchez, but Adell has produced enough of late to consider at least streaming him for a couple weeks in deeper leagues. He could turn into a daily option for the remainder of the season, but his career numbers say he'll fall back to earth after this hot stretch ends.

You could at least utilize Adell in deeper redraft leagues until this hot stretch fizzles out though.
