Top Hitters
Atlanta Braves’ Jorge Soler, Houston Astros’ Alex Bregman, Texas Rangers’ Adolis Garcia, Washington Nationals’ Alex Call and Miami Marlins’ Jake Burger all had seven hits over the weekend.
Soler hit four home runs and three singles for his hits. He drove in nine runs, scored four times, walked twice and struck out just once.
Bregman had three singles and two doubles and homers for his knocks. He drove in four, scored six times, walked three times and was not a strikeout victim.
Garcia had six singles and a double this weekend. He drove in two runs, scored three times, stole a base and walked and struck out two times each.
Call had six singles and a double as well. He drove in three runs, scored once, did not walk and struck out two times.
Burger had four singles and three home runs. He drove in four, scored six times, was hit by a pitch, walked once and struck out three times.
Houston’s Yordan Alvarez hit three homers among his six weekend hits. He drove in five, scored five runs, walked three times and struck out twice.
New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge had six hits, three walks and five runs scored this weekend. Judge had four singles, a double and a homer. He drove in two runs, stole a base and struck out two times.
Arizona Diamondbacks’ Jake McCarthy had eight RBIs on five weekend hits. He hit two singles, two homers and a triple. McCarthy scored three times, did not walk and struck out three times.
Atlanta Braves’ Matt Olson drove in seven runs on four hits and two walks. He hit two homers, a single and a double. Olson scored three runs and struck out twice.
Seattle Mariners’ Cal Raleigh also drove in seven runs, doing so on four hits and two walks. He hit two singles and home runs, and went on to score two runs. Raleigh struck out on three occasions.
Seattle’s Randy Arozarena and Oakland Athletics’ Max Schuemann each walked four times this weekend.
Arozarena had three hits, two singles and a double. He drove in three runs, scored three times, was hit by a pitch and struck out two times.
Schuemann had just one hit, a single. He scored a run, was hit by a pitch and struck out twice.
San Diego Padres’ Jurickson Profar had three hits, was plunked by two pitches and also walked twice this weekend. He drove in a run on a single and two doubles, scored twice and stole a base. Profar was not a strikeout victim.
Miami Marlins’ Derek Hill, Cleveland Guardians’ Andres Gimenez and Miami’s Xavier Edwards all stole three bases this weekend.
Hill had two hits, a single and a double, along with an RBI, run scored and a sacrifice fly. He struck out four times.
Gimenez played four games, collecting three singles. He didn’t drive in a run, scored twice and walked and struck out three times each.
Edwards had two singles and three walks this weekend. He didn’t drive in a run, scored three times and was a strikeout victim three times.
Los Angeles Dodgers’ Teoscar Hernandez had six weekend hits, three singles, two doubles and a home run. He drove in five runs, scored four times, stole a base, walked twice and struck out four times.
Boston Red Sox’s Ceddanne Rafaela hit four singles and walked twice this weekend. He didn’t drive in a run, scored three times and struck out on three occasions.
Arizona’s Corbin Carroll drove in five runs on four hits. He had two singles and home runs, while also scoring three times. Carroll failed to draw a walk and struck out three times.
Kansas City Royals’ Kyle Isbel was 5-for-8 in his two weekend games. He hit three singles and two triples. Isbel drove in two runs, scored four times and stole a base. He did not walk and was not a strikeout victim.
San Diego Padres’ David Peralta had five weekend hits (three doubles and two singles). He drove in two, scored twice, failed to walk and struck out four times.
Los Angeles Angels’ Taylor Ward singled for all six of his weekend hits. He did not drive in a run, scored twice, walked once and was not a strikeout victim.
