Fantasy Baseball Saturday SP Streamers: Burke and Rocker Headline Top Options
Five starting pitchers with good matchups on Saturday who are widely available in fantasy leagues.
Happy Fourth of July! It's the 250th birthday of the greatest country in the world, and we get to celebrate with hot dogs, apple pie, and baseball, among other things. The Fourth is often an unofficial midpoint of the summer, a time to get outside and enjoy activities before the Dog Days of Summer officially kick in; enjoy the holiday, folks!
Let's look at five starting pitchers in action on Saturday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable starters. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Sam Aldegheri, Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox
Aldegheri has bounced between the major and minor leagues this season, and he hasn't been particularly good no matter the level. In the big leagues, he has allowed 30 hits and 18 runs in 29 2/3 innings with a worse-than-average walk rate and far-below-average strikeout rate. He was average with Ks in the minors in his career, so maybe there's a little more there, but Aldegheri has shown very little strikeout prowess at the highest level in 56 1/3 career innings.
Boston ranks last in runs and home runs heading into the weekend; that's not a great start. They are also in the bottom 10 in hits, walks, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and OPS. It has been a season-long struggle for the Red Sox, who continue to struggle after the halfway point of the season. We'll continue going after Boston until they prove they can hit.
Aldegheri is a low-level streamer. While the matchup is right, Aldegheri just hasn't been very good this season, making it tough to trust him for many high-level innings.
Shane Bieber, Toronto Blue Jays @ Seattle Mariners
The Mariners rank in the bottom 10 essentially across the board in offensive box stats. They hit for some power, but Seattle otherwise has struggled to do anything effectively, and they strike out at a top-10 rate, setting a nice ceiling for opposing pitchers. I've talked often about T-Mobile Park in Seattle being maybe the best pitcher's park in baseball, and this game takes place in that hurler's haven, giving the starting pitchers a little extra fantasy value.
Bieber had times in his past when he showed ace upside, but he has hardly been on the field the past three years, including not making his debut until June 23 this season. Things haven't gone well in his two starts of 2026: nine innings, 14 hits, six runs, four homers, four walks, and just six strikeouts. There are surely better times ahead, but Bieber is probably still working his way back into shape, bringing plenty of risk.
Bieber is a low-to-mid-level streamer. There is plenty of upside given his previous work, but there's also the downside he has shown so far. The matchup and location are in his favor here, though.
Sean Burke, Chicago White Sox @ Cleveland Guardians
Burke has had a strong season, throwing 92 2/3 innings with 80 hits, 39 runs, and 11 homers allowed. His walk rate is right at average, and Burke has been striking out batters at an above-average rate, setting a nice ceiling on top of good work elsewhere. Over his past three starts, Burke has combined for 19 innings, 15 hits, four runs, five walks, and 22 strikeouts, maybe his best stretch of the season.
Cleveland and Chicago are fighting for the top of the AL Central, but the White Sox look like the better team so far. Cleveland's offense, in particular, is letting them down, as they rank in the bottom 10 in most offensive box stats and have a negative run differential. They always seem to find a way to work things out in terms of winning games, but the Guardians have now shown poor offensive play for a few straight seasons, not bringing much hope for big improvement.
Burke is a mid-to-high-level streamer. The matchup couldn't be much better, and Burke has been very good this season. On June 23 against Cleveland, he allowed just one run with six strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings; a similar outing could be on tap for this one.
Jack Flaherty, Detroit Tigers @ Texas Rangers
Kumar Rocker, Texas Rangers vs. Detroit Tigers
We'll finish today with a game in which we can target both teams with streamers; it's made even better by the fact that this game takes place in Texas, one of the best pitcher's parks in baseball. The Rangers are much better on the road, but they have bottom-10 offensive stats when playing at home. Detroit has struggled no matter where they have played, and they are brought down further by playing in a park where hitters often struggle.
Flaherty's superficial numbers this season are ugly: 1-8 record with a 4.97 ERA. He has maintained a well-above-average strikeout rate while doing well limiting hits and homers, so it seems like many of his issues are related to his 11.4% walk rate, well above league average around 8-9% (which is also where his career rate sits). Flaherty had by far his best month in June, so maybe he's on the way back, but there's plenty of risk given his struggles in 2026.
Rocker is also coming off a strong start, when he threw six shutout innings against Toronto with five strikeouts and just one walk. He has been close to average with both walks and strikeouts on the season while doing well limiting hits, runs, and home runs, showing some of the promise that his lofty draft status portended. I expect Rocker's strikeout work to improve as he gets more innings under his belt, which would vault him up another level.
Flaherty is a low-to-mid-level streamer and Rocker a mid-level streamer today. Flaherty hasn't been as bad as some of his numbers indicate, but the struggles with control are real and have affected his outcomes. Rocker has the better matchup today, boosting his value a bit.
