Tuesday's Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Hurston Waldrep, Brady Singer, and More
Five starting pitchers in action on Tuesday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups.
We didn't have a streaming list yesterday because there were only three games and just one or two true streamers from among the group; that's not enough for an article. That was the calm before the storm, though, because we are now in the final six days of the season, and every day will have at least 12 games from here on out.
That means plenty of guys in action for fantasy purposes as well. The final push should allow for a full complement of players in your lineup, something that will help you reach innings and games limits.
Let's look at five starting pitchers in action on Tuesday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable pitchers. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Patrick Corbin, Texas Rangers vs. Minnesota Twins
Zebby Matthews, Minnesota Twins @ Texas Rangers
Every American League team has six games remaining; Texas is five back in the wild card race. For their slight hopes to live on, the Rangers must win all their remaining games, and they start with a favorable opponent, as the Twins have tanked in the second half. Both teams have bottom-10 offenses, and the game takes place in Texas, one of the most pitcher-friendly parks in all of baseball.
Corbin has been OK this season, holding a walk rate better than average but a strikeout rate below average, matching his recent past. He has given up right around a hit per inning and a home run every 7.1 innings, very average numbers. Considering his friendly home park, Corbin has been a little below average this season, a helpful innings eater.
In 110 innings over 2024-25, Matthews has a better-than-average walk rate and strikeout rate. The problem has been when batters make contact, as he has allowed 141 base hits and 22 home runs, leading to a 6.22 ERA. His numbers might improve with more time if he keeps those positive rates.
Corbin is a low-to-mid-level streamer and Matthews a mid-level streamer. The latter's better strikeout rate along with the location being in the pitchers' favor gives me faith to be a little aggressive with Matthews late in the season.
Luis Gil, New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox
Gil spent most of the season on the IL, not making his debut until August 3. He has made seven starts in which he allowed one or two runs; Gil also made two starts when he allowed five runs apiece. It has been more good than bad, but Gil hasn't been perfect. He always walks guys but is usually good with strikeouts, though that number is down in 2025's small sample.
The White Sox must be happy that the season is coming to an end. They were picked to finish last in the American League, that's where they spent most of the season, and that's where they will, indeed, end up. The offense has been a bottom-10 unit nearly all season, and they are a good team to target over the final week.
Gill is a mid-level streamer. His work has mostly been good, and he's usually a good strikeout pitcher, so I like counting on him against a subpar offense.
Brady Singer, Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
Singer is owned in more than half of leagues, so he doesn't exactly qualify as a streamer here, but the matchup is great, he has some availability, and we are short on good streaming options. Singer is right around average with both walks and strikeouts, and he has allowed just 137 hits in 161 innings and a home run every 9.5 innings. Singer should be owned in more leagues than he is; he's a must-start player today.
Pittsburgh is one of the weakest offensive teams in the league, both literally and figuratively. They rank last in runs, with 23 less than the next closest team. And the closest group after that is 55 runs ahead. The Pirates also rank last in home runs, slugging percentage, and OPS.
Singer is a mid-to-high-level streamer. His good work combined with Pittsburgh's ineptitude makes for big potential. With the Reds square in the playoff hunt, they'll be expecting everything they can get out of their starter.
Hurston Waldrep, Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals
The Nationals are one of my favorite targets late in the season. Sometimes, a team just pops up with a lack of power, average, or consistency, and they represent the perfect matchup for opposing pitchers. That has been Washington in the second half, a team devoid of talent with only a few keepers on the roster.
Waldrep is owned in around 40% of leagues, so he might not be available, but if he is, he's worth the add. Waldrep will be a more popular name late in fantasy drafts next season. In 2025, Waldrep has struck out 50 batters in 50 1/3 innings with 18 walks, 40 hits, 17 runs, and just three home runs allowed. The former first-round pick has arrived and showed real success.
Waldrep is a mid-level streamer. I'm getting a little aggressive with players, but that's also part of the end of the season. If you still have innings that need to be used, getting some of these best streamers is a must; don't walk away from the season with unused innings.
Waldrep's positive results mixed with Washington's weak offensive performance makes Waldrep a player I want in my fantasy lineup.
