Tuesday's Fantasy Baseball Starting Pitcher Streamers: Are Tylor Megill and Cade Horton Set Up for Big Days?
Five starting pitchers in action on Tuesday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups.
After a long weekend, it's back to the grind. Let's look at five starting pitchers in action on Tuesday who have good matchups and are widely available in fantasy leagues.
Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable pitchers. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Bowden Francis, Toronto Blue Jays @ Texas Rangers
Francis is good with walks and has been an average strikeout pitcher in his career. That latter number is down in 2025, but Francis has previously shown good K work, so there's hope he can bounce back in that area. Francis has really struggled with giving up home runs this year: after allowing 17 homers in 103.2 innings last season, Francis has already given up 15 in 50.1 innings in 2025.
The Rangers do hit homers, but they don't do much else. Texas has some pop but doesn't get enough guys on base to make those big hits worth it. They rank in the bottom five in runs, batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and OPS.
Francis is a mid-level streamer. His Ks being down in 2025 hurt his ceiling just a bit, but I'm willing to bet on him finding more luck there moving forward. The matchup is a sweet one.
Cade Horton, Chicago Cubs vs. Colorado Rockies
Horton has thrown just 14.1 big-league innings, and he's been OK, allowing seven runs with 10 strikeouts and three walks. Horton was a big-time prospect, entering the league as the seventh overall pick in 2022, so there is hope that he will find an ace level eventually. That's not likely to happen this season, but he can still be a good streamer at the right times.
This is one of those times. The Rockies might be the worst offensive team in baseball, ranking at the bottom of most offensive categories despite playing half their games at Coors Field. They also strike out more than any other team, so Colorado sets a high ceiling and floor for opposing pitchers.
Horton is a mid-level streamer. We haven't seen him shine yet, but maybe this fantastic matchup with give us a glimpse of the big things to come from the former top-10 pick.
Dustin May, Los Angeles Dodgers @ Cleveland Guardians
May is average with both walks and strikeouts in his career; that's also true in 2025. May has missed a lot of time with injuries, but he looks like himself now that he's on the field, and that's a valuable pitcher in the right circumstances, like with the good matchup today.
Luckily for us (and him), the Guardians have been struggling offensively. Cleveland ranks in the bottom 10 in most offensive box stats, only reaching an average level with home runs. That hasn't been near enough to find success offensively this season.
May is a mid-level streamer. He has been good, and the matchup sets him up with a chance at a decent outing.
Tylor Megill, New York Mets vs. Chicago White Sox
Another top-level matchup here, the White Sox regularly pepper the bottom of the offensive rankings. They are on a string of several seasons at that level now, so it's not surprise to see them continue to struggle. The question is how long they will remain in the basement. This could be a situation that gets worse before it gets better (somehow).
Megill is owned in a little less than half of leagues, which is more than most of our streamers. He walks a few too many guys, but Megill is also an above-average strikeout pitcher, both in his career and in 2025. That's especially true this year, as he has racked up 66 Ks in just 48 innings. If he keeps that up, Megill will be a must-own player.
Megill is a high-level streamer. He is a must-start player today due to the great matchup and his own elite-level strikeout work this season. Pick him up to start today and consider keeping him if you have room in your rotation.
Andre Pallante, St. Louis Cardinals @ Baltimore Orioles
The Orioles continue their romp as the most disappointing team in baseball. It's the same story every day, and they aren't showing many signs of busting out of this team-wide slump any time soon. We assume young teams will continue improving, but things don't aways work that way. Teams need to win while they have a chance because the window can slam shut (though this is hardly an obituary for this edition of the Baltimore Orioles).
Pallante falls into the huge pool of decent pitchers who strike out a below-average number of batters. Those guys can make a lot of money, but they don't stand out in fantasy baseball and are better left for only the best matchups. They also don't bring high ceilings.
Pallante is a low- to mid-level streamer. His strikeout work is way too low, but the matchup is a good one and gives him the chance at an OK day.
