Best ERAs
Washington's Travis Sykora has the best earned run average amongst the top-100 pitching prospects, but that's coming in just 11 innings.
Sykora has a 0.82 ERA, allowing a run on two hits and three walks. He has 23 strikeouts over his four games.
Sykora is the No. 62 prospect in baseball. He was drafted in the third round of the 2023 MLB Draft, and has a 2027 ETA. He's currently 21 years old and is playing in Single-A.
Pittsburgh's Hunter Barco has a 0.89 ERA over 30 1/3 innings this season. He's pitched 25 2/3 innings at Double-A, before getting 4 2/3 innings at Triple A.
He has allowed three runs on 14 hits and 13 walks, but has struck out 40 batters. Barco has a win across his eight appearances.
Barco is ranked No. 93 and is in Triple-A right now. He's expected to debut in 2026, but I think the 24-year-old could make it to the big league later this season.
Milwaukee's Jacob Misiorowski has a 0.92 ERA over 52 1/3 innings at Triple-A. He's only allowed nine runs on 28 hits and 20 walks, while punching out 63 batters.
The 23-year-old pitcher has a 2025 ETA and he's the No. 72 overall prospect right now. Misiorowski should get a crack at the big leagues at some point in 2025, whether that be as a full-time starter, or a high-leverage reliever because of his 80-grade fastball.
Lowest WHIPs
Sykora leads top-100 prospects with a 0.45 WHIP so far. Toronto's Trey Yesavage has a 0.86 WHIP over 37 1/3 minor league innings this season.
Yesavage has 33 1/3 innings at Single-A, and now is at High-A, where he's logged four innings. He has allowed 15 runs (11 earned) on 21 hits and 11 walks, while striking out 65 batters combined.
He's ranked 71st overall in baseball and has a 2026 ETA. Yesavage was drafted in the first round of the 2024 MLB Draft, and he's just 21 years old right now.
Cincinnati's Chase Burns has a 0.97 WHIP across 35 2/3 innings at High-A and Double-A. He's logged 11 2/3 innings at High-A, and is up to 24 frames in Double-A. Burns has allowed 10 runs (nine earned) on 23 hits and eight walks, while striking out 55 batters.
Burns is the No. 11 overall prospect and has a 2025 ETA despite being taken in the 2024 draft. He was taken second overall, and is 22 years old right now. Burns should be in the big leagues before the end of this season, and maybe even pretty soon if the Reds decide he's shown enough in the minor leagues.
Most Strikeouts
Yesavage leads the top-100 prospects with his 65 punchouts. Misiorowski is second at 63 Ks.
Bubba Chandler has 56 strikeouts so far. He's logged 37 1/3 innings at Triple-A. Chandler has allowed nine runs on 26 hits and 16 walks.
Chandler is the No. 2 prospect in baseball and should be called up to the big leagues at some point in 2025. He was drafted in 2021 and is just 22 years old still.
Miami's Robby Snelling has 50 strikeouts over 38 Double-A innings so far. He's allowed 20 runs (17 earned) on 35 hits and 16 walks.
He's ranked 94th among the top-100 prospects. Snelling was drafted in 2022, and is expected to debut at some point this season. He's 21 years old right now.
Least Amount of Walks Allowed
Among top-100 pitchers with at least 20 innings under their belts, Philadelphia's Andrew Painter has the least amount of walks allowed, surrendering just seven so far. Seattle's Ryan Sloan has walked seven over 24 1/3 innings.
Painter has worked 11 1/3 innings at Single-A and 12 innings at Triple-A. He's given up nine runs (eight earned) on 19 hits and the seven walks. Painter has 27 strikeouts.
Painter is the No. 5 prospect in baseball and should debut at some point in 2025. He was a first-round draft pick of the Phillies in 2021, yet is only 22 years old.
Sloan has done all his pitching at Single-A. He has allowed 11 runs (nine earned) on 19 hits and seven walks, while striking out 30 batters.
He's ranked No. 96 right now. Sloan was a second-round pick in 2024 and has a 2028 ETA. The 19-year-old is in an organization that develops pitchers well, and they could also maybe help him reach the big leagues sooner than 2028.
