Late-Round Rookie Flyer Offers Intriguing Dynasty Depth in New Orleans
Bryce Lance enters his rookie season looking to carve out a depth role in the Saints' offense. New Orleans cleared some runway for him and fellow rookie Jordyn Tyson by releasing Samori Toure shortly after the draft. Currently listed behind Devaughn Vele at LWR on the depth chart, Lance is competing for rotational snaps in a passing game headlined by Chris Olave.
Our models project a modest inaugural campaign for the rookie, expecting 14 receptions on 24 targets for 155 yards and a touchdown. While these numbers translate to a quiet 33.2 fantasy points, any summer progression could quickly elevate his standing in a transitionary Saints receiver room. He remains a raw prospect who will need to earn his targets.
In drafts, Lance is practically free, with an ADP hovering near 415.00 in 1.0 PPR formats after peaking around 435 in mid-May. This slight upward trajectory reflects deep-league managers taking fliers on his late-round profile. At this almost non-existent cost, he represents a zero-risk stash in dynasty formats but can be ignored in standard redraft leagues.
