We just checked out some fantasy baseball waiver wire pitchers, and now are going to take a look at some hitting options.

We won't include anyone who was already written about on Monday or Tuesday. Also be sure to check out Wednesday's streaming article.

Check out the top fantasy baseball waiver wire options everyday on FantasySP.

Should You Add Agustin Ramirez?

Ramirez continues to post pretty solid numbers in his first taste of the big leagues. He's rostered in 44.67% of leagues after a 1.81% increase today.

Across 24 games and 99 plate appearances so far, Ramirez has 23 hits and nine walks - that's a .256 average and .323 on-base percentage. Ramirez has six homers and 10 doubles among his hits, along with 12 RBIs, a stolen base, 11 runs scored and 19 strikeouts.

He's served as the team's catcher in 13 games, and then been the designated hitter on 11 occasions. In other words, Miami is getting him into the lineup often, and he's rarely getting days off.

Ramirez has batted second in each of his past four starts, which is a favorable spot for a fantasy hitter to be in. Miami isn't a good offense, but he can still be a pretty well-rounded fantasy asset from that spot.

I think Ramirez is a bit overlooked because he's on a poor offense. He has solid numbers in his first month or so of action, and because he's playing every game just about, I like him as a fantasy catcher option.

I personally think he deserves to be rostered in almost every deeper redraft league. He's a guy to own in dynasty/keeper leagues as just a 23-year-old as well.

When he's hot at the plate, I think he can be rostered and utilized in some standard leagues. He went hitless on Tuesday, but had a five-game hitting streak before that.

Ramirez had two homers and doubles among his six total knocks in that short timeframe. He also had three RBIs, five walks, four runs scored and four strikeouts in that span.

That's pretty solid fantasy production. While it's not a red-hot stretch, there's a good chance Ramirez outperformed your fantasy catcher during that span. I think fantasy owners need to really consider adding Ramirez in more leagues.

Should You Add Rhys Hoskins?

Hoskins has been one of the few bright spots on a disappointing Milwaukee offense this season. He's also overlooked and owned in just 43% of fantasy leagues.

Across 46 games and 174 plate appearances this season, Hoskins has a .297 average and .402 OBP. I could stop there and that'd be enough to explain why I think he's overlooked as a fantasy asset.

He has nine doubles and six homers among his 43 total knocks. Hoskins also has 26 RBIs, two stolen bases, 16 runs scored, 25 walks and 38 walks as well.

He's on a four-game hitting streak, with five hits over that span, including a homer and two doubles. Hoskins has two RBIs, three walks and strikeouts and four runs scored as well.

Hoskins has batted between fourth-sixth in the lineup over his past five starts. He plays nearly every game, and those are favorable fantasy spots to hit from.

The fantasy first base position is pretty stacked this season, so that hurts Hoskins' cause a bit. He's still a top-20 fantasy 1B on the season, which means he should be owned in all deeper redraft leagues, and he currently isn't. He's only 14 points away from 10th place at the position, so there's another reason to consider Hoskins in standard leagues too.

He's a career .241 hitter with a .348 OBP, so his numbers are going to regress over time. Hoskins has been a fantasy asset in the past, and is delivering good enough power and run production numbers to utilize again this season. Add him and utilize him for a couple weeks and you'll see what I mean.

Should You Add Chase Meidroth?

Meidroth is another case of a good hitter on a bad team. He's up 1.66% and sitting at 12.44% overall now.

Across 26 games and 100 plate appearances, the 23-year-old has a .295 average and .380 OBP. He has three doubles and a homer among his 26 total knocks, along with seven stolen bases, four RBIs, 15 runs scored, 12 walks and just 15 strikeouts.

He's hitting leadoff for the White Sox, and it's killing his RBI numbers. Otherwise, Meidroth has pretty well-rounded numbers.

Meidroth is red hot at the plate too, currently riding an eight-game hitting streak. He has 13 hits, including two doubles and his homer, over that stretch.

Even with low RBI totals, Meidroth deserves some more fantasy love in deeper leagues. He might be eligible at second base and shortstop as well, which adds to his fantasy value.

I'd add him in a few more deeper redraft leagues, and if he stays hot at the plate, his own percentage should continue to rise. I doubt he ever rises to a standard league asset, but he's maybe a player that could get there in future seasons if power numbers ever come around.

Don't overlook Meidroth just because he lacks pop though. He fills the stat sheet nicely otherwise, and doesn't hurt himself with many negatives (strikeouts).

Should You Add Nolan Schanuel?

Schanuel is up 1.74% today, bringing his overall mark to 14.71%.

He's hot at the plate, so that is why he's on the rise. Schanuel has eight hits during his current five-game hitting streak. He has a homer and three doubles among the hits, along with four RBIs and walks, six runs scored and just two punchouts.

He's improved from last season, raising his batting average from .250 to .277 this year. Schanuel got on base at a .343 clip last season, and is up to .366 this year.

Across 45 games and 184 plate appearances so far, Schanuel has 44 hits, including nine doubles, a triple and three home runs. He also has 14 RBIs, a stolen base, 25 runs scored, 22 walks and 24 strikeouts.

If he had a few more RBIs to his name, Schanuel would be an even better fantasy asset. His other stats are all pretty solid.

The Angels' everyday first baseman is batting second each game, which is another positive for his fantasy outlook. LA isn't a great offense, so that hurts him some, but it's still a positive for fantasy purposes.

Like I mentioned with Hoskins, Schanuel is at a stacked fantasy position, so that's why he isn't rostered in more leagues. He's actually two slots and fantasy points ahead of Hoskins this season. In other words, you can get great production from Schanuel in deeper leagues, and he's available to almost all of you too.

Don't overlook him any longer, add Schanuel and improve your deep-league fantasy squad.

Should You Add Ramon Laureano?

Laureano has been hot at the plate, but also injured his ankle in Tuesday's game. He's at 4% rostered, but it'd probably be higher if not for the injury.

He went hitless on Tuesday across two plate appearances, but had 11 knocks, including two doubles and a homer, across a five-game hitting streak before that. He had three RBIs, four runs scored, a walk and two strikeouts in that span.

On the season, he has a .266 average and .320 OBP across 36 games and 103 plate appearances. Laureano has seven doubles and six homers across 25 total knocks. He also has 11 RBIs, two stolen bases, 13 runs scored, seven walks and 29 strikeouts.

He's batted between the fourth-eighth slots in the order over his past five starts, but slotted in as the cleanup hitter the past two contests. The Orioles have been abysmal this season, but that's a favorable fantasy spot to be in.

Keep an eye on his injury status, and if he's back in the lineup in short order, Laureano can be added and utilized in some deeper redraft leagues. At least make that move until he cools off at the plate.
