Cardinals 3, Orioles 1 (completion of May 21 game)

Lance Lynn started for St. Louis, striking out five over six strong innings. He allowed an unearned run on two hits and no walks. Lynn improved to 2-2 and now has a 3.68 earned run average this season.

Ryan Helsley got his 15th save after working a scoreless ninth.

Kyle Bradish started for Baltimore, allowing a run on four hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out six and now has a 2.41 ERA.

Jacob Webb was dealt his third loss out of the bullpen after allowing a run.

Twins 3, Nationals 2

Simeon Woods Richardson started and pitched 4 2/3 innings for Minnesota. He allowed three hits and a walk, but no runs. He struck out one and has a 2.57 ERA so far.

Steven Okert got his first win after getting four outs. Jhoan Duran allowed a run in the ninth, but still got his fourth save.

Jake Irvin fell to 2-5 after allowing two runs on five hits over 6 1/3 innings. He struck out six and walked none.

Guardians 6, Mets 3

Triston McKenzie pitched the first five innings for Cleveland. He allowed three runs on five hits and three walks, while striking out five. McKenzie has a solid 3.44 ERA.

Hunter Gaddis picked up his third win after striking out three batters over 1 1/3 innings. Cade Smith picked up his first save of the season.

Jose Quintana gave up three runs on four hits over six innings. He struck out four and walked none. 

Reed Garrett was tagged with his first loss after allowing a run in an inning of work.

Cardinals 5, Orioles 4

Kyle Gibson allowed three unearned runs over four innings for St. Louis. He gave up five hits, while striking out three and walking none.

John King got his first win out of the pen. Ryan Fernandez allowed a run in the ninth, but still got his first save.

John Means started for Baltimore, not allowing a run over three innings. He gave up a hit and two walks, while striking out one.

Cole Irvin fell to 4-2 after allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out two and walked none.

Angels 2, Astros 1

Tyler Anderson improved to 5-4 after working eight innings for Los Angeles. He gave up a run on six hits and two walks, while striking out four.

Luis Garcia struck out two in the ninth to claim his third save of the season.

Hunter Brown fell to 1-5 after pitching the first six innings for Houston. He allowed two runs on two hits and three walks, while striking out three.

Royals 8, Tigers 3

Cole Ragans improved to 4-3 after striking out 12 batters over six fantastic innings. He allowed a hit and three walks. Ragans has a 3.34 ERA this season.

Tarik Skubal was dealt his first loss for Detroit. He allowed four runs on six hits and two walks over five innings, while striking out six. He still has a 2.25 ERA for the season.

Padres 7, Reds 3

Michael King improved to 4-4 after pitching the first 6 2/3 innings for San Diego. He allowed three runs on four hits and two walks, while striking out six.

Nick Martinez fell to 1-3 after allowing five runs over 4 2/3 innings. He surrendered eight hits and a walk, while striking out two.

Marlins 1, Brewers 0

Jesus Luzardo tossed eight scoreless innings for Miami, striking out four along the way. He only allowed three hits.

Tanner Scott picked up his sixth save after working a scoreless ninth inning.

Freddy Peralta fell to 3-3 despite only allowing a run over seven innings. He struck out seven and gave up four hits and one walk.

Phillies 11, Rangers 4

Taijuan Walker fell an out short of earning the win for Philadelphia. He allowed three runs on six hits and four walks over 4 2/3 innings, while striking out five.

Matt Strahm picked up his third win after getting the next four outs for Philly.

Dane Dunning took the loss for Texas, giving up five runs (three earned) on four hits and a walk over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out four batters along the way.

Giants 9, Pirates 5 (10 inn.)

Blake Snell started for San Francisco and allowed four runs over 3 1/3 innings. He gave up four hits and walks, while striking out five.

Ryan Walker eventually got the win, his fourth of the season.

Jared Jones allowed three runs over six innings in his start for Pittsburgh. He surrendered six hits and three walks, while striking out five. Jones has a 3.05 ERA so far.

Colin Holderman was charged with his first blown save, while Carmen Mlodzinski was tagged with his first loss.

Red Sox 8, Rays 5

Brayan Bello improved to 5-2 after striking out six over six innings. He gave up three runs on four hits and walks.

Ryan Pepiot started for Tampa Bay, giving up three runs on two hits and four walks over four innings. He struck out three batters.

Richard Lovelady was dealt his second loss out of the bullpen.

Yankees 7, Mariners 3

Nestor Cortes improved to 3-4 after working five scoreless innings for New York. He struck out six while allowing three walks and hits. Cortes has a 3.29 ERA this season.

Bryce Miller gave up five runs over six innings and slipped to 3-5 on the season. He allowed five hits, while striking out four and walking none.

Blue Jays 9, White Sox 2

Chris Bassitt improved to 4-6 after pitching seven scoreless innings for Toronto. He allowed five hits and two walks, while striking out four.

Nick Nastrini was dealt his third loss after giving up nine runs (eight earned) over 3 1/3 innings. He allowed seven hits and six walks, while failing to record a strikeout.

Braves 9, Cubs 2

Max Fried struck out nine batters in a complete game effort for Atlanta. He allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and no walks. He improved to 4-2 and now has a 3.38 ERA.

Justin Steele slipped to 0-2 after allowing five runs over 6 1/3 innings. He surrendered six hits and a walk, while striking out five.

Rockies 4, Athletics 3 (12 inn.)

Austin Gomber started for Colorado, allowing a run over eight innings. He struck out six, walked none and gave up five hits.

Jalen Beeks was charged with his second blown save after allowing a ninth-inning run. Nick Mears got his first win, while Matt Koch got his first save.

Mitch Spence started and pitched three innings for Oakland, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks. He struck out four.

Kyle Muller was dealt his first loss after allowing two runs in the 12th inning.

Diamondbacks 6, Dodgers 0

Ryne Nelson was the follower for Arizona, and he didn’t allow a run over five innings. He allowed three walks and five hits, while striking out five. He improved to 3-3.

Tyler Glasnow slipped to 6-3 after surrendering three runs on four hits and a walk over five innings. Glasnow struck out six and still has a 3.09 ERA this season.
