Let's put together a top-30 PPR list for wide receivers for week 8!

We already looked at tight ends, and will cover quarterbacks and running backs later.

Check out week 8 fantasy football projections for wide receivers on FantasySP as well.

1. Ja'Marr Chase

Chase is the No. 1 wideout with six NFL teams on byes this week. He's found new life after the team traded for Joe Burrow.

A matchup against the Jets is pretty tough on paper, but I'm not betting against Chase after what he's accomplished the past couple weeks.

2. CeeDee Lamb

Lamb returned to the field last week and was great for the Cowboys.

He has a tough test against the Broncos this week, but I'm not betting against the Cowboys' offense or Lamb right now.

3. Justin Jefferson

Jefferson gets a high-end spot going into a Thursday night test against the Chargers.

It's another tougher test, and the Minnesota offense isn't the greatest right now, but Jefferson's high ceiling makes me not want to pass on him any longer.

4. Rashee Rice

Rice was stellar in his first game in week 7, although two touchdowns really powered that high mark.

He has a pretty favorable matchup against the Commanders this week, so I expect Rice to deliver a big-time fantasy score again.

5. Drake London

London is coming off a down fantasy outing, but his involvement was still great.

A matchup against the Dolphins is actually a tougher one on paper, but I expect London to bounce back and deliver a nice fantasy score.

6. Emeka Egbuka

Egbuka surprisingly played in week 7. He was heavily involved, but didn't produce a ton.

I see him dominating again in week 8 against the Saints, who are a pretty average matchup. Egbuka should be the team's top wideout going forward with Mike Evans sidelined again.

7. Chris Olave

Olave delivered his best fantasy performance in week 8, and has really been pretty good most of the season.

A clash with the Buccaneers is a pretty average test for Olave, so I expect him to deliver above-average results as the team's clear top target.

8. Courtland Sutton

Sutton has been above average in all but two games this season.

I see him going off against the Cowboys in week 8. Dallas is one of the best fantasy matchups a receiver could have, so take advantage of that with Sutton.

9. Rome Odunze

Odunze has really slowed down over the past couple weeks. I'm giving him another top-10 spot and expecting better results this coming week.

A very favorable matchup against the Ravens should help Odunze get back on track.

10. A.J. Brown

Brown was awesome in week 7, so his fantasy owners are hoping more of that is coming.

A week 8 test against the Giants sets up super favorably for the team's lead wideout. Brown had 80 yards on six catches and nine targets in the team's first meeting a couple weeks ago, so a similar, or better, showing is what I expect.

11. Nico Collins

Collins suffered a concussion on Monday, so his status will be one to watch this week. This is where I'd rank him if he ends up playing.

He has a below-average test against the Niners, and if he plays, there's a chance his workload is managed a bit - that's why he ranks outside my top 10.

12. Zay Flowers

Flowers has been so-so over the past three weeks, but was good early in the season, when Lamar Jackson was active. If Jackson is back this week, Flowers could star.

The Bears are a pretty favorable test anyways, so I like him ranked here, whether Jackson plays or not.

13. Ladd McConkey

He might not show it most weeks, but I still like McConkey is the top Charger wide receiver. That's why I am taking him first again in week 8.

Minnesota will be a tough challenge for all the LA wideouts, but on a short week, I see the Chargers' offense finding a bit more success, with McConkey leading the charge.

14. DK Metcalf

Metcalf was held pretty in check last week, so I am expecting a bit of a bounceback performance from him against the Packers.

Green Bay is an average matchup on paper, and I expect Aaron Rodgers to look Metcalf's way often in a statement game against the QB's former team.

15. George Pickens

Even with Lamb back last week, Pickens still delivered a good fantasy score.

The brutal test against the Broncos might scare some off Pickens, but I'm going to keep trusting him, especially on a week with so many notable receivers out.

16. Stefon Diggs

Diggs has been in double figures in three of the past four games, with varying involvement each week. He's not the most confident play, but I think you have to trust him to get the job done this week.

The Browns are a tougher test on paper, but I'm counting on the Patriots' offense to keep moving the ball, and Diggs to lead the charge.

17. DeVonta Smith

Even with Brown showing out last week, Smith was also great.

He only had 49 yards on four catches and five targets in the first game against the Giants, but in the favorable matchup, I'd be happy to start Smith in most leagues for week 8.

18. Tee Higgins

Higgins is coming off his best fantasy outing of the season, again thanks to Flacco replacing Jake Browning.

If not for the tougher test against the Jets, Higgins would rank notably higher, but I still like playing him this week.

19. Deebo Samuel Sr.

Samuel was a surprise inactive last week, so his status will be one to watch this week. Terry McLaurin's status could also alter his outlook a bit, but I'd take Samuel over McLaurin if both were active.

Kansas City is the matchup, and it's a tough one for the Washington wideouts. I'd still trust Samuel to rack up enough points to be a worthwhile fantasy starter.

20. Michael Pittman

Pittman delivered for fantasy owners last week, and it was actually his best outing of the season.

The Titans are a slightly above-average matchup for Pittman, so I'd be starting him in most leagues.

21. Quentin Johnston

Johnston was OK last week, but a touchdown really saved his fantasy score.

I don't love his outlook against the Vikings, but on a bye-heavy week, I'm going to take Johnston here.

22. Tetairoa McMillan

McMillan is coming off a poor fantasy showing, but I'm going back to him this week.

Buffalo is a tougher test, but in a game where Carolina might throw quite a bit, I could see McMillan doing enough for this ranking.

23. Jaylen Waddle

Waddle was held to almost nothing last week, but I'm viewing that as an outlier.

A very tough matchup against the Falcons is why he ranks so low this week.

24. Keenan Allen

Let's roll our third Charger wideout here. He was stellar last week, but had been trending down in the three games before that.

In a tougher test, I'm not super high on Allen, but because of a lack of options, he makes my top 30 again.

25. Wan'Dale Robinson

Robinson was solid in week 7, and he was also good in week 6 against the Eagles.

Philly is an above-average matchup for fantasy wideouts, and I expect Robinson to produce enough again for at least a top-25 finish.

26. Rashid Shaheed

Shaheed has just two double-digit fantasy outings this season, but on a tough week to find options, I'm going to give him a nod.

The clash against Tampa Bay is good enough to try him and Olave this week.

27. Jordan Addison

Addison has been over 15 fantasy points in all three of his games so far, but I'm still not all-in on him.

The tougher test against the Chargers doesn't do him any favors, but he could still produce a decent score.

28. Garrett Wilson

Wilson missed week 7, so his status will be one to watch. Maybe he can spark the Jets' offense.

A pretty so-so matchup against the Bengals is a chance to utilize Wilson, but the offense's shortcomings the past two weeks has me down on the team's top pass catcher.

29. Xavier Worthy

Worthy had his worst fantasy showing in week 7, which wasn't surprising after Rice returned.

The above-average matchup against the Commanders is a chance for Worthy and Rice to both deliver solid marks, and that's what I see happening.

30. Romeo Doubs

Doubs has quietly been in double figures in four of six games, and he missed it by a point once.

A great matchup against the Steelers is a chance for Doubs to deliver again, so don't overlook him for one of your final starting spots in a standard league.
