Fantasy Football Quarterback ADPs as Regular Season Nears
Breaking down the top 10 quarterbacks by ADP and highlighting some other QB targets.
With the NFL preseason behind us and the regular season closing in quickly, I wanted to put together one final look at fantasy football average draft position data, as fantasy drafts are taking place soon in most cases.
I'll start with quarterbacks, looking at top-10 options, plus other notable fantasy QBs. Let's get right to it!

1. Josh Allen
Allen is still the top fantasy quarterback taken, going at pick 26 overall. He's easily the No. 1 option, going nearly 30 picks before anyone else.
That's for good reason, as Allen has been a top-end fantasy QB for the past several years. He's a dual-threat option, and that makes him an elite fantasy QB.
If you want to take a chance on an early fantasy QB, Allen is the top guy to go after. Just know you'll be behind on running backs and wide receivers if you grab him in round 3.
Jackson is next off draft boards, going at pick 53.75 on average. He's over 20 picks clear of the next QB too.
Jackson has some injury issues over his career, but when healthy, he's another top-end fantasy QB. He's a bit of a risk, even at his ADP, but you don't need to spend a premium pick on him, so he's a bit more appealing than Allen in that regard.
3. Drake Maye
Maye is the third fantasy QB taken, barely ahead of the next guy. Maye's ADP is 75.5.
Maye is coming off a stellar season, and has more playmakers around him this year, so I like his outlook a lot. With his ADP where it is, I think he could be a good draft value.
4. Joe Burrow
Burrow is going just after Maye, going at pick 77.75 on average.
He has injury concerns over his career as well, otherwise he'd probably be going much earlier. Burrow is the first non-dual threat guy we have on the ADP list, but when healthy, he can be an elite fantasy QB.
Daniels is the fifth fantasy QB taken, going at pick 90.5 on average. He's another dual-threat guy.
He is coming off an injury-riddled season, but thankfully, his ADP isn't too high. There's value in getting Daniels near that ADP, and I wouldn't mind taking him if you feel confident in your team you've drafted to that point.
6. Jalen Hurts
Hurts is going just a few picks after Daniels, at pick 96.25 overall.
He's another dual-threat guy, and he relies heavily on his running to post good fantasy marks. The Philly offense is a bit weaker this season than it was last year, but I think this ADP is pretty fair for Hurts, so I don't mind taking Hurts near that pick.
Williams is the seventh fantasy QB taken, going at pick 108.5.
The Bears' offense is stacked, but Williams just hasn't been consistent enough to draft any higher. He's a decent draft value near that ADP though, but I also wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer to make a QB pick if you've waited that long already.
8. Dak Prescott
Prescott is eighth on the QB ADP list, going at pick 117.5 overall.
He's more like Burrow in that most of his fantasy numbers come on his passing. Prescott has a good offense around him and could be in store for a big season if he stays healthy, so I like drafting him as a QB1.
Herbert is another fantasy QB I like, especially at his ADP of 122.
He too has a good offense around him, and could be headed to a good fantasy year, but this is a fair spot to expect him to finish, and at a later pick, I think he's a solid option.
10. Trevor Lawrence
Lawrence is the last QB in the top-10 guys drafted, going at pick 125.5 overall.
He finished 2025 super strong and if he plays that way for all of 2026, he has top-five potential. On that alone, I think Lawrence is worth picking near that ADP.
Other Notable Options
There's a bunch of really solid fantasy quarterbacks who aren't top-10 options too.
The first guy outside the top 10 is Jaxson Dart at pick 134.25. He has some upside as a dual-threat guy, but a lack of playmakers on the Giants and some injury issues with Dart are holding him back from being a top-10 option.
Matthew Stafford is the next fantasy QB taken, going at pick 136.75. I think that's stellar value after Stafford delivered big in 2025. I'd be happy to grab him as my top fantasy QB, but would take another just in case he falls off in 2026 a bit.
Patrick Mahomes is another big-name guy going later, sitting at pick 150 overall. He's going later this year after some down seasons, by his standards, and coming off a big injury. I also wouldn't hate getting him as my top fantasy QB, but again, would want someone else in case he falters in 2026.
Bo Nix (152.75) and Brock Purdy (155) are just outside the top-150 picks, but still taken in a good amount of fantasy leagues. Both could be weekly starting options, so getting them as second options is a decent idea in my eyes.
Jared Goff (164), Baker Mayfield (171.25) and Kyler Murray (175.25) are the next three QBs off draft boards on average. All of them could be weekly options as well, with Murray being the most appealing option as a dual-threat guy. Look to stream these guys, but most look to them as QB2s as 2026 begins.
Jordan Love (184.75) and Tyler Shough (189) round out the top-20 QBs taken, and are the last guys in the top-200 picks. I like both QBs and think they'll be startable several times in 2026. I especially like Love, and don't hate him as a fantasy QB2, especially if you waited long on your QB1.
That still leaves 12 quarterbacks unaccounted for. At times, they'll be waiver wire adds or streaming options in 2026, so don't write off anyone else.
Some names to keep eyes on are Malik Willis, Daniel Jones, C.J. Stroud, Sam Darnold, Cam Ward, Bryce Young and others. We'll see if any of those guys can emerge as weekly starting options in 2026.
