Final Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 8: Jayden Daniels, Travis Etienne, Tyreek Hill, George Kittle and More

Quarterbacks

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (Concussion)

Tua has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will start for Miami this week. His presence is a massive upgrade for every other player on the offense. 

Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders (Ribs)

Daniels is officially listed as questionable and is considered a game-time decision. It sounds like this one could really go either way. If he is not able to give it a go, Marcus Mariota would get the start for Washington. 

Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints (Oblique)

Carr is going to miss another week and Spencer Rattler will once again draw the start. Rattler was awful last week on Thursday Night Football, however, he is expected to get a few of his weapons back this week. 

Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets (Hamstring)

Rodgers has added a hamstring injury to his laundry list of ailments. Nevertheless, he is fully expected to be out there on Sunday. 

Will Levis, Tennessee Titans (Shoulder)

Levis is officially listed as questionable for Week 8, but it sounds like he's trending toward being on the wrong side of questionable. If he is unable to suit up, Mason Rudolph will get another start. 

Running Backs

Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars (Hamstring)

Etienne is listed as questionable for Week 8 and will be a game-time decision. If he is not available for the game, then Tank Bigsby will once again serve as the RB1 in Jacksonville. 

Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Toe)

While he is still listed on the injury report, Irving is expected to play this week and will split time with Rachaad White, as has been the case for most of the season. 

Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns (Hamstring)

Ford will not be able to return this week and Nick Chubb will get another chance to pull away with the bell-cow job in Cleveland - if his body allows it. 

Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans (Hamstring)

Spears is questionable for Week 8 and we probably won't know his availability until Sunday. Regardless, he has taken a backseat to Tony Pollard, who will handle the bulk of the work either way. 

Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers (Knee)

It doesn't look like Brooks will make his NFL debut this week. He will need at least one more week to recover from his offseason ACL surgery. Officially, he's listed as doubtful. 

Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens (Knee)

Mitchell has been ruled out for Week 8 and will not make his 2024 debut just quite yet. 

Wide Receivers

Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins (Foot)

Hill was a late-week addition to the injury report, and after being a limited participant in practice on Thursday, was not able to practice at all on Friday. He's officially listed as questionable, and this is an injury that fantasy owners need to monitor closely. 

Deebo Samuel Sr., San Francisco 49ers (Illness)

Samuel is still dealing with the aftereffects of an illness, as well as a lingering wrist injury. However, it does sound like he's trending toward playing despite being listed as questionable. Unfortunately, things don't look quite as optimistic for his teammate Jauan Jennings, who could be in line to miss another game. 

DK Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks (Knee)

Metcalf is considered doubtful for Week 8. This will be a brutal blow for the Seahawks' passing attack. 

Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens (Ankle)

After returning to practice on Friday, it looks like Flowers is likely to give it a go this week, but is still considered questionable. 

Diontae Johnson, Carolina Panthers (Ribs)

Johnson has been ruled out for Week 8, along with Adam Thielen. Bryce Young, who already has an uphill battle, just saw the hill become even steeper.  

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals (Quad)

Higgins suffered a quad injury in practice on Friday, so we don't know all that much about the injury yet. As of now, he is considered to be questionable and we will have to follow the reports for updates. 

Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers (Hip)

After playing through a hip injury last week, that looks to be the most likely outcome again this week for the rookie, who is officially listed as questionable. Teammate Quentin Johnston is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury, while D.J. Chark has a shot to be activated off of IR this week as he is close to fully recovered from his groin injury. 

Tight Ends

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (Foot)

Kittle is questionable for Week 8 with a foot sprain, but is expected to play. 

Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles (Hamstring)

Goedert has once again been ruled out with a hamstring injury. 

Will Dissly, Los Angeles Chargers (Shoulder)

Dissly is listed as questionable this week and it sounds like this one could go either way. His teammate Hayden Hurst is in the same situation.
