Round 1
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
There are no bad picks in the first round, but it's hard to get behind Nacua as the 10th overall pick. Matthew Stafford will be a year older and Cooper Kupp has to be assumed healthy for 2024. I would take each of the five picks following him over him, including wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who is going two picks later.
Round 2
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
As much as I wanted to go with Davante Adams here, the worst pick has to be Allen. With his offense leaning more on the run late last season and his top two weapons leaving town, it's hard to lock in Allen as the sure-fire QB1. That is exactly what you're doing if you're drafting him in the second round. With guys like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson sitting around until the fourth round, it's hard to justify reaching for Allen here.

This fantasy football mock draft was an 18-round Best Ball draft done on Underdog in .5 PPR format. The starting lineup consists of one QB, two RBs, three WRs, one TE, one Flex, and there are 10 bench spots.

Quarterbacks
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
This may appear to be an overly obvious choice but it's the right one. Mahomes is coming at a discounted rate this year being drafted as the QB3 in the fourth round. That's the cheapest he's been in years.
What he brings is a comfort level to your team that is impossible to put a price on. If you own him in a dynasty league, you fully understand. This is a guy you can plug in week in and week out and never have to worry about him. He has a strong floor every week with the upside of a guy who is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever live.

Quarterbacks
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Allen is the reigning QB1 and has been incredible in fantasy for years now. However, this year he is once again being drafted as the QB1 overall early in the second round and there are reasons to believe he will not live up to that price tag.

Running Backs
Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints
ADP: RB43 136th Overall
This is a guy you are going to hear us talking about a lot this summer. He was highly touted entering the 2023 NFL and we had him ranked as the RB3 in his draft class. Unfortunately, injuries derailed his rookie campaign in a major way and he didn't truly flash until the last week of the season.

NFL Training Camp is almost upon us, and once it kicks off many player's fantasy values will start to shift drastically. This could be due to a standout or poor performance, unexpected opportunities, or just buzz from the media and coaches. These players are guys whose value is only going to skyrocket from here. So no matter what format you are playing, find a way to get these on your rosters now because their price will never be lower. Here we will focus on the wide receivers.

Quarterbacks
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Over the past couple of seasons, Murray has struggled with health and production. Injuries have limited his ability to be on the field, his passing and his rushing ability. He will enter 2024, two seasons removed from a torn ACL and presumably fully healthy.
A lack of weapons has also hindered Murray for years now. Now he has two ultra-talented pass catchers in Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. Now that he has potentially elite weapons and can get back to doing what he's done in the past on the ground, Murray has the potential of being a league winner and should be viewed as a QB1 with massive upside.

Quarterbacks
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Allen has been on top of the fantasy world as the QB1 overall for multiple years now. His big arm and ability to steamroll his way into the end zone has made him the ideal fantasy asset. However, this is the year we see him take a big step back. Not only did he lose his top two wideouts in Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, but the team didn't do a whole lot to fill the void they left on the outside.
Nagging injuries have also begun to take a toll on this massive quarterback. This includes banging up his shoulder, elbow and hand over the past couple of seasons. We've seen this story before with Cam Newton, who is a very similar player. This way of playing quarterback is unsustainable and it's why Newton fell off a cliff.
