Deep Depth Chart Demotion Leaves Jerome Ford Off the Redraft Radar

Jerome Ford finds himself in a crowded Washington backfield, buried near the bottom of a depth chart that features Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Rachaad White leading the way. After seeing his usage dwindle in Cleveland during the 2025 season to just 25 carries, Ford is facing an uphill battle for touches in his new home.

Our models project a highly limited role for Ford this year, forecasting just 27 rush attempts for 116 yards and seven receptions in Washington. This minimal projected volume translates to a meager 26.8 fantasy points, making him a non-factor in standard redraft formats.

His ADP has been highly volatile, plummeting past pick 900 in early June before stabilizing near pick 372. This massive drop in draft cost reflects the market's realization of his deep backup status, and even at this depressed price, our projections view him as an easy pass in 1.0 PPR formats.
