Tampa Bay lead back Bucky Irving is recovering well from offseason shoulder surgery, with General Manager Jason Licht declaring he would be ready to play if the season started today. Entering his third year, Irving sits atop the depth chart as the team's primary runner, playing ahead of Kenneth Gainwell in a refreshed backfield.
Our models expect a highly productive campaign for the young runner, projecting him for 227 carries, 966 rushing yards, and six touchdowns on the ground. Additionally, we project him to remain active in the passing game for Baker Mayfield's offense, catching 40 receptions for 324 yards and two scores.
