It's time to kick off a new week, and that means a fresh round of fantasy baseball waiver wire/streaming options! Here, let's go over some pitching pickups.

Check back for a waiver wire article on hitters, and weekly projections!

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!

Reynaldo Lopez - Atlanta Braves

Lopez is up 6.46% so far today, and that brings his overall mark to 22.81%.

He will get a start against the Mets on Monday night. That's a great matchup on paper. Lopez has not started against New York yet this season.

Lopez has made 20 appearances, including seven starts. He's 4-1 with a hold and 3.31 earned run average. Lopez has allowed 23 runs (19 earned) on 45 hits and 22 walks, while striking out 46 batters over 51 2/3 innings.

Lopez might have a bit lower ceiling because he hasn't been starting much of late. At least going five innings is a possibility though, and in a good matchup, Lopez could put up good numbers even over just five frames. He's at least worth trying in deeper leagues today, and those desperate for pitching help could consider him in standard leagues.

Shane Drohan - Milwaukee Brewers

Drohan has been picked up in 3.43% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 26.62%.

He will be making a start against the Cardinals on Monday evening. That's a solid matchup on paper. Drohan has pitched twice against them this season, but both times in short relief appearances.

Drohan is 3-2 with a save and two holds over 17 appearances this season. He has worked 57 2/3 innings and sports a 3.12 ERA. Drohan has allowed 23 runs (20 earned) on 53 hits and 18 walks, while striking out 59 along the way.

Drohan has pitched pretty well of late, but some shorter starts hold his fantasy ceiling back a bit. Drohan is still worth trying in some deeper leagues, and considering in standard leagues if you are desperate for some pitching help.

Eric Lauer - Los Angeles Dodgers

Lauer is sitting at 25.48% overall after being added in 6.47% of leagues already today.

He will get a home start against the Rockies on Monday. That's about as good of a streaming matchup as a pitcher could have, so it's no surprise to see Lauer on the rise.

Lauer has pitched pretty well since joining the Dodgers. In six starts, he's 3-0 with a 2.88 ERA over 34 1/3 innings. He's allowed 11 runs on 27 hits and nine walks, while striking out 18 along the way.

Lauer has looked good of late and has a great matchup today, so he's a fantasy streaming option in all leagues. At least try him in deeper leagues, and I think he's worth trying in most standard leagues too.

Caleb Kilian - San Francisco Giants

Kilian is up to about 18% rostered right now. He was below 12% on July 2, so he's a few percent up since the start of the month.

He has saves in three straight appearances for the Giants. Kilian has eight saves on the year.

Over  36 appearances, Kilian is 2-4 with the eight saves, two blown saves and three holds. He's pitched 37 innings, allowing 19 runs (17 earned) on 30 hits and 17 walks. Kilian has struck out 45 batters.

Kilian has pitched pretty well this season, but a couple blowup outings has him at a subpar 4.14 ERA. He's worth adding and utilizing in some deeper leagues, especially while he's pitching well, but he's best skipped in standard leagues, as the Giants aren't likely to win enough to support him in the long run.

Grant Taylor - Chicago White Sox

Taylor is slightly on the rise as well, and sits near 32% owned right now. He was closer to 30% the past several days.

He earned a save on July 4 - it was his third of the season. Taylor is 4-2 with the three saves, three blown saves and five holds over 34 appearances overall.

Taylor has worked 45 2/3 innings, allowing 20 runs (15 earned) on 36 hits and 15 walks. He has struck out 65 batters along the way. His ERA is 2.96, a solid mark.

Taylor has some deep-league fantasy appeal, especially if he's getting a few save chances. The White Sox are winning enough right now, but until Taylor is getting every save chance, he's not worth owning in standard leagues. Keep tabs on him though.
