Fantasy Baseball Prospect Report: Young Pitchers on the Rise
Several young pitching prospects are posting dominant numbers across the minors and boosting their dynasty fantasy baseball value.
Today, we are going to dive into minor league baseball stats and highlight some players who are excelling.
Here, let's go over some pitchers. We will discuss players age 25 or younger, so this article is focused toward dynasty/keeper leagues a bit more.

Karson Milbrandt - Miami Marlins
Milbrandt is tied for the lead in strikeouts for pitchers age 25 or younger. He has 63 punchouts over 42 1/3 innings.
He also has a stellar 1.06 earned run average over eight starts this season. Milbrandt has allowed 10 runs (five earned) on 24 hits and 14 walks.
Milbrandt is the Marlins' No. 9 prospect, and has a 2027 ERA. He's in Double-A now as a 22-year-old, and with how he's pitching, I wouldn't completely rule out a 2026 MLB debut.
He's one to stash in dynasty leagues, and keep tabs on in redraft leagues if he gets a call up in 2026.
Nolan Perry - Toronto Blue Jays
Perry has 60 strikeouts over just 36 innings at Single-A and High-A so far this season.
He has a 1.25 ERA as well, allowing six runs (five earned) on 15 hits and 11 walks. Perry has started seven of the eight games he's appeared in.
Perry is the team's No. 17 prospect, and has a 2027 ETA as well. The 22-year-old has already pitched at two levels this year, and could move up even more by the end of the year.
A 2027 ETA seems likely though, unless Toronto is decimated by injuries, or Perry gets a change of scenery. He's a rising prospect, and is one to stash in deeper dynasty leagues.
Kade Anderson - Seattle Mariners
Anderson owns a 1.63 ERA and has struck out 58 batters over 38 2/3 innings while pitching at Double-A this season.
He has allowed seven runs on 24 hits and seven walks. Anderson has three wins and no losses across his eight starts so far.
Anderson is the Mariners' No. 2 prospect and is the No. 7 prospect in all of baseball, and has a 2027 ETA. The 21-year-old has a chance to be a big leaguer by the end of 2026, but a 2027 debut is more likely. He's definitely one to stash in dynasty leagues, and he's one to track in redraft leagues in case he gets called up.
Joseph Dzierwa - Baltimore Orioles
Dzierwa has a 2.54 ERA over 46 innings at High-A and Double-A. He has struck out 60 batters so far.
Dzierwa has made nine starts, and is 5-2 so far. He has allowed 15 runs (13 earned) on 28 hits and 10 walks.
Dzierwa is the team's No. 12 prospect. He has a 2028 ETA and is 22 years old. I think there's a good chance we see him in the big leagues before 2028, and even an outside chance he gets to the MLB by the end of this year, depending on how the Orioles are doing, or if he gets traded away.
Nathan Dettmer - Athletics
Dettmer has a 2.96 ERA across 45 2/3 innings at Single-A and High-A.
He has struck out 42 batters so far over nine appearances (eight starts). Dettmer is 3-3 and has allowed 18 runs (15 earned) on 42 hits and 13 walks.
Dettmer isn't a top-30 prospect of the Athletics, but that's likely to change after how he's started this season. He's just a stash option in really deep dynasty leagues, but with how he's pitched, Dettmer is a player to keep tabs on.
Max Banks - Chicago White Sox
Banks has a sparkling 1.23 ERA over 44 innings pitched at Single-A so far this season.
He has 41 strikeouts across his nine starts, and has a 3-0 record. Banks has allowed nine runs (six earned) on 39 hits and six walks.
Banks is another guy who isn't a top-30 prospect for his own team. He's one to track after how he's looked this season, and we'll see if the 23-year-old can turn into a notable prospect and asset down the line.
Aidan Cremarosa - Tampa Bay Rays
Cremarosa has a 2.89 ERA over eight starts at Single-A.
The 22-year-old has struck out 56 batters over 43 2/3 innings. He's allowed 16 runs (14 earned) on 26 hits and nine walks.
Cremarosa isn't inside the Rays' top-30 prospects right now, but could be after the next prospect list update. He's trending up as a prospect and is another pitcher to keep tabs on.
Justin Lamkin - Kansas City Royals
The 22-year-old Lamkin has a 2.04 ERA over eight starts at High-A and Double-A this season.
He has struck out 53 batters over 39 2/3 innings, and he's 3-1 so far. Lamkin has allowed nine runs on 23 hits and 14 walks.
Lamkin is the No. 13 prospect for KC right now, and he has a 2028 ETA. After already making it to Double-A, I think there's a chance we see Lamkin in the big leagues before 2028. He's one to stash in some deeper dynasty leagues, and one to track, as his prospect ranking could jump after the results he's had so far this season.
