Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!
Brandon Marsh - Philadelphia Phillies
Marsh has been added in 2.17% of fantasy baseball leagues, which brings his overall mark to 23.29%.
Marsh has hit better of late, collecting a hit in six of his past seven games played. The only time he didn't get a hit in that span is in a game he didn't start. He has six RBIs, four runs scored and 10 hits in that span.
The veteran outfielder has a .298 average and .320 on-base percentage in his 26 games played and 100 plate appearances this season. Over his 28 total hits, he had four doubles and four home runs. Marsh has 17 RBIs, 12 runs scored, three stolen bases, four walks and 20 strikeouts.
Marsh can be a decent fantasy asset at times, and he's usable in more leagues when he's going right, like he is now. He's just a deep-league asset, but he's worth utilizing in more leagues right now. Give Marsh an add in more leagues, and utilize him until his bat cools off.
Cole Young - Seattle Mariners
Young is up 3.79% today. He is rostered in 26.92% of leagues overall.
He has five hits over his past two games, and 18 knocks over his past 13 games. Young has 10 RBIs, eight runs scored, two stolen bases, three walks and eight strikeouts in that span.
Young has a .286 average and .357 on-base percentage over his first 32 games and 126 plate appearances of the season. He has four doubles, three homers and a triple among his 32 total knocks, plus 19 RBIs, 20 runs scored, two stolen bases, 11 walks and 27 strikeouts.
Young is excelling in his second big league season. The second baseman is worth adding in more deeper leagues, and keeping an eye on in standard leagues. If he keeps hitting well, he might be addable in some standard leagues in time.
Brooks Lee - Minnesota Twins
Lee is owned in 23% of leagues right now. He is up from 14% on April 26.
He had two hits in his last game, and has raised his batting average by 47 points since April 21. Lee has 10 hits over that span, plus five RBIs and six runs scored.
Lee has a .253 average and .317 OBP over his first 28 contests and 104 plate appearances this season. He has 17 RBIs, 12 runs scored, two stolen bases, eight walks and 19 strikeouts. Lee has five homers and two doubles among his 24 total knocks.
Lee is a shortstop this season, but played enough second and third base last year to probably be eligible there too. That makes him more valuable in fantasy leagues, especially as his bat is heating up. He's worth adding in more deeper leagues, although he'll probably top out as a deep-league asset - he could be worth trying in standard leagues in time, so keep tabs on him.
Nolan Arenado - Arizona Diamondbacks
Arenado has been picked up in 3.02% of leagues. He's rostered in 33.65% of leagues overall.
Arenado popped a homer in his last game. He has 12 hits over his past seven games, while also having six RBIs, eight runs scored, five walks and two strikeouts over that span.
He had a .284 average and .324 OBP over his 27 games played and 102 plate appearances. Arenado has 27 total knocks, including five homers and two doubles. He has 17 RBIs, 15 runs scored, six walks and 19 strikeouts.
The veteran is past his prime, but can still deliver at the plate. Arenado is doing enough right now to pick up and utilize in deeper leagues for the time being. If he keeps hitting, he could get back into standard leagues, so keep tabs on him.
Casey Schmitt - San Francisco Giants
Schmitt is rostered in about 18% of leagues, which is up from 10% on April 26.
He went hitless in his last game, but had four hits in the three games before that. Schmitt homered twice, drove in five runs and scored three times over those contests.
Schmitt has played in 23 games and logged 92 plate appearances this season. He has a .286 average and .337 OBP, along with 13 RBIs, 10 runs scored, a stolen base, four walks and 19 strikeouts. Schmitt has eight doubles and four homers among his 24 total knocks.
Schmitt has played first and third base this season, but mostly been a designated hitter. He has played all over in the past, so he could be eligible elsewhere, which ups his fantasy value. He's another deep-league asset to utilize while he's excelling at the plate.
