Fantasy Baseball Prospects: Top-100 Hitters Making Noise

Tracking the hottest top-100 hitting prospects and their paths to the big leagues

Morgan Rode Apr 21st 2:24 PM EDT.

It's time for our weekly check-in on minor league players. Here, we'll go over some top-100 hitting prospects.

Here's the last story we did on minor league hitters.

Check back in a bit for a writeup on top-100 pitchers.

Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including waiver pickups, projections, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant.

Max Clark - Detroit Tigers

Clark is the No. 8 prospect in baseball and is playing at Triple-A. He has a 2026 ETA.

Clark has 27 hits, including eight doubles, a triple and a homer. He has 10 RBIs and walks, 13 runs scored, six stolen bases and 10 strikeouts over 89 plate appearances.

He's off to a good start, and in time, he should be helping the big league team. The Tigers just have to have a need for an outfielder for Clark to be possibly brought up, so be ready to pounce when he gets the call.

Ryan Waldschmidt - Arizona Diamondbacks

Waldschmidt is the No. 53 prospect in baseball and is playing at Triple-A as well. He has a 2026 ETA and also plays the outfield.

He has 27 hits as well, including six doubles, three triples and two doubles. Waldschmidt has 14 RBIs, 19 runs scored, 12 walks, four stolen bases and 25 strikeouts.

He's striking out a bit much, but is showing off his other tools and abilities otherwise. Waldschmidt just needs a bit more seasoning before he's ready for a big league call up, so be watching him in case he gets the nod soon.

Emil Morales - Los Angeles Dodgers

Morales leads top-100 prospects with 20 RBIs, and he's done that in just 70 plate appearances at Single-A. He's the No. 83 prospect in baseball and has a 2029 ETA.

Morales has 13 runs scored, six walks, two stolen bases and 14 strikeouts as well. Among his 23 hits, he has eight doubles, two homers and a triple.

The primary shortstop is off to a hot start, and could move up the minor league ranks quickly if he keeps excelling at the plate. Right now, his path to the big leagues is blocked, but a change of scenery could accelerate his journey, so he's one to still keep tabs on.

He's just a dynasty/keeper asset right now, while everyone else we've covered so far has redraft value for 2026 (when they get called up).

Cooper Ingle - Cleveland Guardians

Ingle leads top-100 prospects with 18 walks, and he's done that in only 47 plate appearances at Triple-A.

He has 10 hits, including four long balls. Ingle has 14 runs scored, 12 RBIs and nine strikeouts so far. The No. 89 overall prospect is a catcher, and could be called up at any point.

So he too has redraft fantasy value if he gets called up. His long-term outlook is really good as well. Keep tabs on Ingle, as I think his call up could be coming really, really soon.

Eli Willits - Washington Nationals

Willits leads top-100 prospects with 12 stolen bases. He's gotten 73 plate appearances at Single-A.

The No. 10 overall prospect has 13 hits, including four doubles, two homers and a triple. Willits has 15 runs scored, 13 walks, seven RBIs and 15 strikeouts as well. He is a shortstop and has a 2028 ETA.

Willits could appear in the big leagues sooner than that, especially if he keeps excelling in the minor leagues. He's more of a long-term asset though, and is at least a year-plus from making his MLB debut.

Bryce Eldridge - San Francisco Giants

Eldridge is the No. 20 prospect and is playing at Triple-A.

He has 23 hits, including six doubles and two homers. Eldridge has 11 RBIs and walks, 15 runs scored and 27 strikeouts.

Eldridge has proved enough in the minor leagues, and it's only a matter of time before he's called back up to the big leagues - he got in 10 games in 2025. Keep tabs on Eldridge, and add him in a good amount of redraft leagues when he gets the call up.

Travis Bazzana - Cleveland Guardians

Bazzana is playing at Triple-A and has a 2026 ETA. He is the No. 16 prospect in the game.

He has 22 hits so far, including nine doubles, two triples and one home run. Bazzana has 12 walks, 13 runs scored, five RBIs and stolen bases and 16 strikeouts.

He's another guy who gets called up at any point, so keep close tabs on Bazzana. He doesn't have much left to prove in the minor leagues.

Kaelen Culpepper - Minnesota Twins

Culpepper is off to a good start across 90 plate appearances in Triple-A. The No. 47 prospect has a 2026 ETA.

The shortstop has four doubles and three homers among his 22 total knocks, plus 12 RBIs, 15 runs scored, nine walks, four stolen bases and 18 strikeouts.

In time, Culpepper should also be called up to the MLB. He's showing that he's passed all the minor league tests, and now he just needs a need for him at the big league level.

He's another guy who will have instant redraft fantasy value when he gets called up, so keep tabs on him.

Johnny Level - San Francisco Giants

Level has 21 hits over just 55 plate appearances at Single-A. The No. 95 prospect has eight doubles and four homers among his hits.

He has a 2029 ETA and is just 19 years old. I think he could move that ETA up with more good hitting in the minor leagues.

Anyways, Level has 19 RBIs, 15 runs scored, four walks and stolen bases and 11 strikeouts as well. He's looked great at Single-A, and could move up a level, or a few, by the end of the season.

Get him rostered in all dynasty leagues, and be anticipating his debut in a couple years.

Braden Montgomery - Chicago White Sox

Montgomery is the No. 31 prospect and is playing at Double-A right now. The outfielder has a 2026 ETA though.

Across 68 plate appearances, Montgomery has 19 hits, including five doubles, four homers and two triples. He has 14 RBIs, 12 runs scored and walks, two stolen bases and 17 strikeouts.

He likely needs some time in Triple-A before making the big leagues, but maybe he will skip that level if he keeps mashing, and a big league need in the outfield pops up for Chicago.

Montgomery will be called up at some point in 2026 though. If he isn't then he either suffered an injury, or the White Sox are just crazy, because he's probably already better than a lot of the big leaguers the team has.

Franklin Arias - Boston Red Sox

Arias is the No. 26 prospect in baseball. He's just 20 years old, but is playing in Double-A already. He has a 2027 ETA.

Arias has a .467 average and .564 on-base percentage over 39 plate appearances so far. He has 14 hits, including three homers and two doubles, plus nine RBIs, eight runs scored, five walks, a stolen base and only three strikeouts.

I think there's a real chance we see Arias in the big leagues before the end of 2026. It'd be hard for the Red Sox to keep him away if he keeps putting up big numbers, so keep tabs on Arias.

Luis Pena - Milwaukee Brewers

Pena has a .400 average and .488 OBP over 43 plate appearances at High-A. He's the No. 21 prospect overall and has a 2028 ETA.

Pena has a double, triple and home run among his 14 hits so far. He also has 11 runs scored, seven RBIs and walks, six stolen bases and six strikeouts.

Pena is one of several talented middle infielders for Milwaukee, but he's also the furthest away from debuting. More big results at the plate could help Pena reach the big leagues sooner than 2028, but we're likely talking 2027 at the earliest. He's one to stash in dynasty leagues.
