Let's go over another batch of fantasy baseball waiver wire options!

We won't cover anyone who appeared in waiver stories on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, and will also skip any streaming pitchers from Thursday's article.

Should You Add Ben Rice?

Rice is rostered in 77% of leagues. He's been rising steadily since August 16, when he was owned in 44% of leagues.

He collected three hits on Wednesday, including a home run. Rice also homered on Monday.

In 22 August games and over 87 plate appearances, Rice has a .311 average and .402 on-base percentage. He's homered six times, doubled four times and tripled once among his 23 total hits. Rice also has 14 RBIs, 10 runs scored, 12 walks and 16 strikeouts.

For the season, Rice has a .246 average and .342 OBP over 112 games and 428 plate appearances. He's posted 21 doubles, 22 homers and three triples among his 91 total hits, while also having 49 RBIs, 59 runs scored, three stolen bases, 46 walks and 84 strikeouts.

He's played first base and catcher this season, so he should be eligible to play at each spot. That's a plus for Rice's fantasy outlook.

The only downside with him is that he doesn't start against left-handed pitchers - the Yankees have faced a lefty twice over the past five games, so that's two valuable games he's not been starting in. That's what is holding him back from being rostered in even more leagues.

Rice is a very good deep-league option, and he can be a standard league asset too, just not in all of those leagues. Those lacking at first base or catcher should add Rice in standard leagues. Just make sure you have another option at those positions for the games Rice doesn't start.

Should You Add Abner Uribe?

Uribe has been added in 1.87% of leagues today and sits at 53.74% overall.

He's on the rise after Brewers' closer Trevor Megill hit the injured list. That leaves the closer role open, and it seems that Uribe is the top option for that role.

Uribe earned a save in his last appearance on Monday, striking out a batter in a 1-2-3 inning. He has three saves, two blown saves, 35 holds and a 2-1 record over 63 appearances and 63 1/3 innings. He's allowed 15 runs (12 earned) on 43 hits and 24 walks, while striking out 78 batters.

His 1.71 ERA and all-around numbers had him owned in a good amount of leagues even before the Megill news. Now that Uribe is in line for some saves over the next couple weeks, his fantasy outlook is even better than it was before.

The Brewers have cooled a bit from their big-time winning ways, but the closer for the team is an above-average fantasy relief option, at the very least. Uribe has pitched well this season already, so it should be him that earns most of the saves until Megill is back.

You likely aren't going to find a better fantasy reliever who is available in this many leagues, so scoop Uribe up while you can. He could be a really good asset down the stretch, even when Megill returns to the mix.

Should You Add Adolis Garcia?

Garcia is owned in 62% of fantasy leagues. He was at 58% back on August 24.

He had four hits on Wednesday and has nine hits over his past five games and 22 plate appearances. Garcia has two homers and four doubles among those nine hits, while also walking twice, driving in eight runs, scoring six times, stealing three bases and striking out twice.

Over 121 games and 495 plate appearances this season, Garcia has a .234 average and .277 OBP, which are both slightly below his career marks. He has 18 homers and 28 doubles among his 107 total hits, while also producing 72 RBIs, 52 runs scored, 13 stolen bases, 26 walks and 124 strikeouts.

It's been a bit of a disappointing fantasy season for Garcia, but he's been trending up of late. He'd be rostered in more leagues if he wasn't at a stacked outfield position.

He's starting daily, which is the biggest thing for a fantasy hitter. Garcia has moved into the cleanup role the past two games, which is another plus in his favor.

I'd say Garcia is a good streaming option in standard leagues for now. I'm not all in on adding him, because he doesn't have a great average or OBP, and there's so many fantasy outfielders to choose from that I believe you should be able to find a better long-term option at the position.

Garcia offers a little pop, and could be the hottest hitter of the lot though, so look over all your options and make a decision from there.

Should You Add Kyle Teel?

Teel is up to 22%, after sitting near 6% on August 21.

Teel has seven hits over his past three games. In 21 August games and over 80 plate appearances, he has a .319 average and .388 OBP.

He also has two homers and three doubles among his 23 total hits this month. Teel has 13 RBIs, eight runs scored, a stolen base, seven walks and 15 strikeouts.

In his first 53 MLB games and 192 plate appearances, Teel owns a .295 average and .382 OBP. He's got four homers and eight doubles, along with 49 total hits. Teel has tallied 22 RBIs, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases, 21 walks and 41 strikeouts.

He's really deserving of more fantasy ownership, but hitting for such a weak offense is holding him back some. Something working in his favor is that he's a catcher, which is a spot that is hard to find consistent fantasy production in.

He doesn't start against most left-handed pitchers, so that will also hold him back some, but he's hitting near the top of the team's order, and has been in the No. 3 spot the past two starts.

There's enough fantasy value in his overall numbers to have him rostered in most deeper leagues, and even a few standard leagues. He's trending up of late, and is a better fantasy asset than you probably think.

If you are lacking at the catcher spot, give Teel a look.

Should You Add Jose Quintana?

Quintana has been added in 1.87% of leagues and is up to 56.54% overall.

He will be making a start against the Diamondbacks this afternoon, so he's another streaming option. Quintana's first start of the season was against Arizona. He got a win after delivering seven scoreless innings. He allowed four hits and no walks, while striking out two batters - he only threw 80 pitches.

Arizona might have sold at the trade deadline, but its lineup is still capable of putting up runs. That makes this an average-or-below matchup for Quintana.

He's looked good of late, allowing three or less earned runs and working at least five innings in five straight outings. Quintana is 3-0 with a 2.83 ERA over 28 2/3 innings in that stretch, but he's struck out just 20 batters.

He might have a bit of a lower fantasy floor and ceiling, but as a veteran, he's a bit more trustworthy than some of the young streaming options for the day. Don't write Quintana off just because of the matchup - just look how he fared in that first start against the D-Backs.

I'd say he's a good deep-league starter today, but not a must-start pitcher. I'd also be fine starting him in some standard leagues, but again just not all of them.
