Fewest Hits
Jesus Sanchez had no hits over 19 plate appearances last week. He had a walk and struck out four times. Sanchez hasn't found his footing in Houston since being traded there, and is only owned in 12% of leagues. Don't forget about him completely, but only fantasy owners in really deep leagues should be rostering him.
Cody Bellinger, Kyle Tucker, Royce Lewis, Ryan Jeffers, Logan O'Hoppe, Anthony Volpe and Kyle Manzardo all had two hits last week.
Bellinger had a homer among his hits, along with five RBIs, a run scored, two walks and two strikeouts. He's owned in all leagues, but is starting in fewer and fewer leagues - that will only change if his bat heats up again.
Tucker singled for his only hits this week. He walked three times, scored twice, failed to drive in a run, stole a base and struck out four times. Tucker is widely considered as one of the top hitters in the game, but is absolutely struggling right now - he'll be benched in a few leagues. Now would be as good a time as ever to buy low on him.
Lewis had a double and a homer for his two hits. He also had four RBIs, two runs scored, five walks and six strikeouts. Lewis has never truly gotten going this season, and now his own percentage is trending down again - he's at 43%, and probably doesn't deserve to be rostered in that many leagues even.
Jeffers singled for his only hits last week. He had four walks, two runs scored, an RBI and five strikeouts as well. Jeffers had been trending up going into last week, but is now going back down and sits at 25% owned.
O'Hoppe singled for his only hits last week, while also having two RBIs, a run scored, a walk and seven strikeouts. O'Hoppe sits at 53% rostered now, and will likely keep trending down if he can't improve on last week's numbers.
Volpe doubled and homered for his only hits last week. He added three RBIs, two runs scored, a walk and five strikeouts. Volpe sits at 66% rostered and would be at a much lower number if he wasn't wearing a Yankees' uniform.
Manzardo homered among his two knocks last week. He added four walks, three RBIs, two runs scored and struck out nine times. Manzardo was trending up recently, but is going back down now - he's at 32% owned.
Fewest Runs Scored
Christian Walker, Yandy Diaz, Luis Arraez, Nico Hoerner and Adley Rutschman all failed to score a run last week.
Walker singled for all three of his hits, while also posting no RBIs, four walks and seven strikeouts. It's been a disappointing season for Walker, and his own mark of 76% still seems too high for how he's performed.
Diaz doubled among his eight hits, while also posting four RBIs, a walk and three strikeouts. It wasn't all bad for Diaz, but in order to see his own percentage (95) go back up, he needs to do a bit more.
Arraez doubled three times among his six hits, while also having two RBIs and walks, two stolen bases and two strikeouts. He's down to 96% rostered and needs to provide a bit more to stop that mark from dropping any more.
Hoerner had a double among his seven knocks, while also tallying two walks, an RBI and strikeout and three stolen bases. He limited the negative points, but didn't provide much outside hits. Once he does, he could see his own mark go from 96% to 100%.
Rutschman singled for his only three hits. He had two RBIs, no walks and three strikeouts as well. It's good to see Rutschman back on the field, but his fantasy owners need to see production soon, otherwise he'll be dropped more often. Rutschman is already down to 92%.
Fewest RBIs
Mike Trout, Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts, J.P. Crawford, Trent Grisham, TJ Friedl, Otto Lopez, Addison Barger, Josh Smith and Jung Hoo Lee were among the qualified hitters with no RBIs.
Trout made the hitter trending up story because he walked nine times, but he only had three hits (all singles). He had three runs scored and nine strikeouts as well. He's a bit overrated based on what he's done in the past, so I'd see what kind of return you could get for him.
Machado doubled among his four knocks, while adding two runs scored and walks and seven strikeouts. He doesn't have many poor weeks, but this was one of them. Machado could be a bit easier to acquire in a trade as a result.
Bogaerts doubled three times among his four knocks, while also having four runs scored, a walk and five strikeouts. He's still at 93% rostered, so I'd treat him as a buy-low candidate for now - that could change with another week of poor hitting though.
Crawford doubled among his seven hits, and also walked twice, so it wasn't all bad for him. He had two runs scored and five strikeouts. Crawford is way down to 21% owned, and will likely keep being dropped if he doesn't pick it up.
Grisham singled for all six of his hits and also walked four times, so at least he got on base a bit. He scored six runs and struck out five times. Grisham is actually trending up a bit after the past week, and sits at 41% owned.
Friedl singled for all four of his knocks last week, while also recording five runs scored, two walks and four strikeouts. He's down to 67% rostered now and could only be a deep-league asset if his bat stays cold.
Lopez doubled twice among his five hits, while also recording three runs scored, a walk and four strikeouts. He's way down to 36% owned and will continue to be dropped with more weeks like his last one.
Barger doubled among his four knocks, and also had a run scored and walk and seven punchouts last week. He's on a downward trend after his bat cooled off, and sits at 74% rostered.
Smith doubled among his four hits, while also finishing with two runs scored and walks and four strikeouts. He is holding steady around 37% rostered, but will drop if he has another week like this last one.
Lee finished with seven hits, including a double and triple, so he was still pretty productive at the plate. He had two runs scored, a walk, two stolen bases and a strikeout. Lee is holding around 65% owned, and that's a fair mark based on the numbers he posted last week.
Other Hitters Trending Down
Willy Adames had 11 strikeouts and just three hits. He homered among the knocks, while also posting four runs scored, an RBI, two walks and two stolen bases. It's been a pretty disappointing fantasy year for Adames, but he's still at 83% rostered - I'd look to sell him with the little value he has remaining.
Blaze Alexander had 11 strikeouts and three hits as well. He homered and doubled among the knocks, while also having three runs scored, two walks and an RBI. Alexander was a big waiver wire add last week, but is trending back down and sits at 36% overall now.
Gleyber Torres had three singles and three walks last week. He added an RBI, two runs scored and struck out four times. Torres is rostered in 90% of leagues, and that figure has dropped over the past several days - expect it to keep dropping if he doesn't turn things around.
Salvador Perez had a .150 on-base percentage over 20 plate appearances. He had a homer and double among his knocks, along with three runs scored, two RBIs and five strikeouts. It's been a pretty disappointing fantasy year for Perez, but he's still owned in 97% of leagues - I'd look to sell him high on name value alone.
