Monday's Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: How Many Feasible Options do We have on a Light Schedule Day?

It's another light Monday on the MLB schedule, something we run into often. Some days, that means it's almost impossible to find feasible streamers. We are fortunate today, though, as we have a full list of streaming pitchers on the mound who have at least decent matchups.

Let's look at five starting pitchers in action on Monday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have (mostly) good matchups. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable pitchers. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Richard Fitts, Boston Red Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels

Fitts threw 20.2 innings last year and is up to 20 this season. That's not a lot to go off of, but Fitts has had very good results in that time, allowing just 10 earned runs. He has been OK with walks but well below average with strikeouts. Fitts was better in the minors with Ks, so there might be better numbers there moving forward.

The Angels were a prime target team but have moved more toward the fringes, though I still feel confident in going after them. They rank in the bottom 10 in runs, hits, doubles, walks, batting average, on-base percentage, and OPS. They mash, ranking third in home runs, but the Angles have also struck out the second most, setting a high ceiling for opponents.

Fitts is a low- to mid-level streamer. His lack of track record makes it tough to know what to expect, but the matchup is right, and he has found some success so far.

Stephen Kolek, San Diego Padres @ San Francisco Giants

The Giants are only a fringe streaming team: they wouldn't be listed here with a full schedule. They are between 15th and 25th in most offensive box stats, a below-average offense but not regularly bottom-10 (or worse) like a lot of our other targets. This is our worst matchup of the day, though it'll have to be good enough with the short schedule.

Kolek only has 77.1 innings to his name over the past two seasons, making it tough to know his true level of performance. He has been good with walks, but Kolek has also been below average with strikeouts. He was just OK with Ks in the minor leagues, so we probably can't expect him to make too big of a jump.

Kolek is a low-level streamer. His lower strikeouts will cap his ceiling, though the low walks are also nice. The matchup isn't a great one to chase unless you're in a deep league or desperate.

Max Meyer, Miami Marlins vs. Colorado Rockies

The Rockies continue a nine-game road trip, putting them squarely on our target list. I generally shy away from targeting them when playing at Coors Field, but Colorado has been bad enough at home that they are worth considering every day. Miami will be a team with upside the next few days.

Meyer has been right around average with both walks and strikeouts in 122.2 career innings. He has been hit a little hard, giving up 132 hits and 26 home runs (one every 4.7 innings) in that time. Meyer is a fine pitcher to consider on the right days, but his value ebbs and flows with the matchup.

Meyer is a mid-level streamer. The matchup is pristine, and Meyer has been good enough so far while also being young enough to project improvement.

Luis Severino, Athletics vs. Minnesota Twins

Severino has seen his strikeout percentage fall the past three seasons after doing high-level K work through 2021. It's not a surprise to see a pitcher lose some of that magic as he ages; the guys who continue to excel must adapt to a loss in velocity. He is still good with walks and has done well preventing runs, but Severino has a lower fantasy ceiling than he did a few years ago.

Minnesota ranks in the bottom 10 in runs, hits, home runs, walks, batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and OPS. They started the season brutally slow and have improved since then, but the Twins still top out as a middling team in any facet, and the offense is part of that struggle.

Severino is another low- to mid-level streamer. His strikeout work has suffered enough to drop him a half-notch, but Severino has still been good enough to consider in the right matchups.

Brady Singer, Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers

Milwaukee is another fringe group that we don't target every day, but they have been lowly enough to produce a few big games for our streamers over the first two months. They have scored the eighth-most runs, but they rank average or worse in many other areas, including not hitting a lot of home runs. Worse luck will make them less fortunate moving forward.

Singer is owned in around 25% of leagues, more than some of our other guys here, but he was a hot commodity last season. His strikeouts are down, his walks are up, and he's allowing more runs; it hasn't been a great 2025. There is a little upside, but Singer is nothing more than an average pitcher right now.

Singer is a low- to mid-level streamer. The matchup is middling, and Singer's own performance has suffered a little this season. It's hard to expect big things in this one.

Monday's Streamer Rankings

  1. Max Meyer, MIA
  2. Luis Severino, ATH
  3. Richard Fitts, BOS
  4. Brady Singer, CIN
  5. Stephen Kolek, SD
