After taking a look at some of the top-producing MLB hitting prospects in the minor leagues, let's do the same for pitchers.

We'll break things down by stats again, and focus on players age 25 or younger.

Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including waiver pickups, projections, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant.

Best ERAs

Among pitchers with at least 50 minor league innings worked this season, Kansas City's Hunter Patteson leads the way with a 1.37 earned run average.

Patteson is 4-0 across nine starts and 52 2/3 innings. He has allowed 11 runs (eight earned) on 33 hits and 13 walks, while striking out 42 batters.

Patteson is not a top-30 prospect for the Royals, but that could change if he keeps excelling on the bump. He's a name to keep tabs on in case Patteson keeps trending up.

Milwaukee's Jacob Misiorowski has a 1.60 ERA over 56 1/3 innings.

Misiorowski is 3-1 over 10 starts and 11 appearances. In 56 1/3 innings, Misiorowski has allowed 11 runs (10 earned) on 33 hits and 22 walks, while striking out 71 batters.

He's the No. 72 prospect in all of baseball, and should make his MLB debut at some point in 2025. With his big strikeout totals, Misiorowski could be destined for a relief role, but if he gets some starts, he could be a real fantasy asset.

Lowering the inning minimum to 40 frames, St. Louis' Jason Savacool takes over as the ERA leader with a 1.00 mark.

Savacool is 4-1 and has covered 45 innings over eight starts and nine total appearances. He has allowed eight runs (five earned) on 30 hits and 10 walks, while striking out 40 batters.

He is not a top-30 prospect for the Cardinals, but again, that could change soon. The 23-year-old also probably is due for a promotion, and he could rise multiple levels if he keeps excelling.

Baltimore's Braxton Bragg is second with a 1.01 ERA, while Atlanta's Ian Mejia is third at a 1.03 ERA.

Bragg has worked 44 2/3 innings between High-A and Double-A this season. He's 4-1 and has allowed 14 runs (five earned) on 27 hits and 15 walks, while striking out 61 batters.

Bragg isn't ranked among the Orioles' top-30 list right now, but he might be the next time the rankings are updated. The 24-year-old could keep rising up the minor league ranks in a hurry.

Mejia is 4-0 and has covered 43 2/3 innings at Double-A this season. He's allowed five runs on 28 hits and 12 walks, while striking out 34 batters.

He's the Braves' No. 23 prospect and has a 2025 ETA. The 25-year-old would be an intriguing streaming option if he gets some starts for Atlanta later this season.

Cleveland's Austin Peterson (1.18), Milwaukee's Tyson Hardin and New York Yankees' Griffin Herring (1.21 each) and Athletics' Donny Troconis (1.33) also have lower ERAs before we get to Patteson and Misiorowski.

Peterson is 3-2 across nine starts and 45 2/3 innings at Double-A. He's allowed nine runs (six earned) on 29 hits and seven walks, while striking out 37 batters.

Peterson is the No. 29 prospect for Cleveland and has a 2025 ETA. Again, he's not super highly regarded, but he'd have some streaming value if he made some MLB starts for the Guardians later this season.

Hardin is 4-1 across eight starts and 44 2/3 innings at High-A. He's allowed seven runs (six earned) on 35 hits and four walks, while punching out 48 batters.

He's not ranked among the Brewers' top-30 prospects, but he's turning heads with his performance so far. Milwaukee has turned several pitchers into big league talents over the years, so Hardin is a name to keep tabs on for sure.

Herring is 4-1 across eight starts and 44 2/3 innings at Single-A. He's allowed seven runs (six earned) on 24 hits and 16 walks, while striking out 58 batters.

Herring is 22 years old, is the Yankees' No. 25 prospect and has a 2027 ETA. He's in his first minor league season, so he could be due for a good bump up the rankings the next time things are updated.

Troconis is 4-0 over seven starts and nine appearances this season. He's covered 40 2/3 Single-A innings, allowing eight runs (six earned) on 19 hits and 12 walks - he also has 33 strikeouts to his name.

Troconis is not ranked in the top-30 prospects for the Athletics. He's just 19 years old, so he's still several years away from debuting, and that gives him plenty of time to rise up prospect rankings.

Most Strikeouts

Toronto's Trey Yesavage leads minor league pitchers (age 25 or below) with 74 strikeouts.

Yesavage has a 3-0 record and 2.40 ERA over nine starts and 41 1/3 innings at Single-A and High-A this season. He's allowed 15 runs (11 earned) on 22 hits and 14 walks.

Yesavage is ranked 71st among the top-100 prospects now. The 21-year-old has a 2026 ETA, and that still seems likely with how good he's looked so far this season. He could jump another level or two by the end of 2025.

Los Angeles Dodgers' Patrick Copen is second with 73 strikeouts and then Misiorowski is the only other pitcher over 70 Ks.

Copen has made nine High-A starts so far, covering 44 innings. He's 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA. Copen has allowed 12 runs on 21 hits and 29 walks.

Copen is ranked 29th among the Dodgers' top-30 prospects. The 23-year-old is likely to be promoted soon, and then he can get closer to an MLB debut - he's projected to debut in 2027. LA has developed some good pitching prospects over the years, so don't lose track of Copen.

Lowest WHIPs

Among minor league pitchers with at least 40 innings worked, New York Mets' Zach Thornton leads the way with a 0.74 WHIP.

Thornton is 4-0 with a 2.54 ERA over 46 innings at High-A and Double-A. He's allowed 13 runs (nine earned) on 31 hits and three walks, while striking out 49 batters.

Thornton isn't a top-30 prospect for the Mets, but he's turning heads now and maybe on his way to being ranked someday. The 23-year-old could be a quick riser through the minor leagues if he keeps excelling on the hill.

Troconis is second at 0.76, while Peterson is third at 0.79. Atlanta's Brett Sears checks in fourth with a 0.80 mark.

Sears is 4-2 with a 2.32 ERA over 42 2/3 innings this season. He's pitched at Single-A, High-A and Double-A already. Sears has allowed 11 runs (eight earned) on 27 hits and seven walks, while punching out 55 batters.

Sears isn't ranked among the top-30 Atlanta prospects, but that hasn't stopped the team from moving him up the minor league ranks. He could be ranked soon.

Cincinnati's Chase Burns has a 0.84 WHIP this season, as does Athletics' Gage Jump and Pittsburgh's Garrett McMillan.

Burns is the No. 11 prospect in all of baseball. The 22-year-old is 4-3 with a 2.21 ERA across 40 2/3 innings at High-A and Double-A so far. He's allowed 11 runs (10 earned) on 26 hits and eight walks, while striking out 65 batters.

Burns is expected to debut this season, and it could come sooner than a lot of fantasy owners expect. He's definitely a player to keep an eye on.

Jump is 7-1 with a 1.80 ERA over 50 innings at High-A and Double-A. He's allowed 11 runs (10 earned) on 32 hits and 10 walks, while striking out 67 batters.

Jump is ranked 13th for the Athletics, and is expected to debut in 2027. He's turning heads this season and could improve his ranking and move up his ETA with more strong pitching.

McMillan is 4-1 with a 1.84 ERA over 44 innings at High-A and Double-A. He's struck out 38 batters, while allowing nine runs on 32 hits and five walks.

He's not a top-30 prospect for the Pirates, but really should be looking at his minor league numbers so far. The 24-year-old could get ranked soon, and be in the big leagues in the next season or so.
