One Fantasy Baseball Breakout Player from Every American League Team: Jasson Dominguez, Jackson Holliday, Bryan Woo, Junior Caminero, Jacob Wilson and More

As the 2025 MLB regular season closes in, let's identify one player from each team who will be a breakout fantasy baseball player this season.

Yankees

The player has to be Jasson Dominguez. Injuries have held him back since debuting in 2023, but he's projected to be the everyday left fielder in New York for 2025. If he hits well enough, he could move toward the top of the order, instead of batting in the bottom three or four guys.

Guardians

I'm going to go with Brayan Rocchio. He has a full season of MLB experience under his belt now, and I think he'll up his numbers in 2025. He doesn't strike out much, so if he can even hit close to .250, he'd be a pretty solid fantasy asset.

Orioles

Jackson Holliday is my pick from Baltimore. I love when young players step up and deliver for good teams, and I think Holliday does for the Orioles in 2025. He's a top prospect for a reason, and I think his struggles last season will help him moving forward.

Astros

I'll take Spencer Arrighetti from the Astros. He got some good experience in 2025, and I think he will pitch better while fighting to keep his rotation spot. He's already a good asset because of his big strikeout numbers, and I think he lowers his ERA and posts a better win-loss record this year.

Tigers

Colt Keith is my pick from Detroit. He flashed some potential at times during his rookie season, and I think he will emerge as one of the brightest young hitters in the game in 2025. 

Royals

I'll take Jonathan India from the Royals. If he sticks atop the team's order, he should post the best fantasy season of his career with Bobby Witt Jr. batting right after him. India has a chance to be an everyday fantasy second baseman in KC.

Mariners

Bryan Woo is my pick from Seattle. He was great in his 22 starts last season, and I think he emerges as another top-end fantasy pitcher from Seattle by the end of this season.

Twins

I'll take Brooks Lee from the Twins. He struggled in his 50 MLB games last season, but the team's former top prospect could turn into a big-time fantasy asset in 2025.

Red Sox

Triston Casas is the easy choice for me in Boston. He's been hampered by injuries, but could emerge as one of the top power hitters in the game with a fully healthy season in 2025.

Rays

Junior Caminero is another easy pick in Tampa Bay. He too has been slowed by injuries but seems to be trending in the right direction and could really burst onto the scene in 2025. He has the potential to be one of the top fantasy hitters in the entire league.

Rangers

I'll take Evan Carter from the Rangers. He flashed big potential in 2023, only to be limited to 45 games (and also struggling) during the 2024 season. This season, I expect Carter to get going again, and for the Rangers' lineup as a whole to really break out.

Blue Jays

Nobody really sticks out on the Blue Jays' roster, so I'm going to go with a veteran and say Bo Bichette gets rolling again. He struggled mightily over an 81-game season in 2024, but I think he bounces back in a big way in 2025.

Athletics

I like several players on this Athletics' team, but Jacob Wilson is my top breakout fantasy player. He did some nice things across 28 big leagues in 2024, and I think he emerges as a daily starting fantasy shortstop by the end of the 2025 season. 

Angels

I'm taking Logan O'Hoppe from the Angels. He's improved steadily in his short MLB career, and I think 2025 is when he really establishes himself as one of the better hitting catchers in the MLB.

White Sox

Unsurprisingly, there aren't many good options on the Chicago roster, but I'll highlight Jonathan Cannon. He got some valuable experience in 2024, and I'm guessing that he takes that and comes back stronger in 2025 as a main member of the team's starting rotation.
